The Retreat is in a private recreational community that has a fish stocked lake, 2 private beaches, playground, basketball, tennis, and a pavilion with charcoal grills. The Retreat has Step-Free entry, a chairlift, sleeps 10 guests comfortably and is perfect for families, Active Seniors, Unlimited Ability Adults, Reunions, or anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in the Pocono Mountains.

The Retreat has 3-bedrooms and 2.5 baths. As you enter the foyer, you are immediately blown away by abstract prints of historic Jim Thorpe licensed from artist Jacqueline Lewis of Fine Art & Travel Photography.

The living area is complete with comfortable seating, an electric fireplace, and large windows that allow natural light to fill the room and a remote-controlled recliner with lift assistance. This space also features puzzle tables, assorted jigsaw puzzles and a selfie station for taking cellphone pictures.

The additional living area has a convertible couch that sleeps 2, a wireless phone charger lamp, board games and magazines. All spaces are handicapped friendly. Both spaces display art from the collection of Philadelphia artist Chad Cortez Everett.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, deep freezer, Keurig coffee station, waffler maker, toaster, blender and all the cookware, dinnerware and comforts of home you'll need to prepare and enjoy meals together. There is a breakfast nook and tall boy table for seating.

All bedrooms are tastefully decorated and designed for comfort and relaxation. The main bedroom features a queen size Zinus mattress with high-quality linen, mini fridge, Smart TV, jacuzzi and shower with His and Her sinks. The additional bedrooms also have Zinus mattresses with high-quality linens and feature themes and characters such as Thor and New York City backdrops. Towels and wash clothes are provided for guests.

All bathrooms are clean and well-maintained, and stocked with fresh towels and essential toiletries for your convenience. A shower chair is available upon request.

The Retreat offers a spacious backyard. It's the perfect spot for outdoor gatherings, relaxing with a book, or roasting marshmallows around the fire pit in the evening. The back deck comes with a grill, utensils, table, chairs, and deck string lighting, and a fountain timed to come on at dusk that is very relaxing to hear.
