"I recently just went on a big China trip and visited the beautiful Zhangjiajie region. Staying at No. 5 Valley was an incredible experience. The host Frankie was super helpful and hospitable. The property is in a very scenic, remote area. Around 1 hour from Zhangjiajie Train Station. The food options were vast and very accommodative and the resort. Had several activities going on throughout the day. Arts and crafts, tea ceremonies and much more. I really enjoyed my stay and I'm looking forward...

"This is seriously one of the best places I have ever visited. The staff were absolutely incredible -- they helped plan out my itinerary, arranged all the tickets, provided transportation. They didn't get into any games if up selling stuff. Everything was just honest support. The rooms and views were spectacular. Super clean. "Before you book: if you haven't stay on a mountain hotel, and you don't know how to handle some bugs or moisture, don't book. This hotel is in the mountain, so there are bugs and moisture visible. Fungus on the shower curtain, and the hotel needs maintanance, but overall great. Chinese beds, and if you can, as almost all budget hotels, bring your own router, as wifi is low. " Ok, there is both good and bad with this Hotel. Let's start out with the good. The price was good. The room was clean. The room looked nice. The décor was nice. The view from the Balcony in my room was nice, but the view really depended on the weather. if the weather was bad, you could not see the mountains and were just stuck seeing other buildings It had hot water and decent water pressure.
