Linen
All linen (sheets and bath towels) is supplied for your stay and included in the tariff. For the comfort of our guests, we do not triple-sheet. All beds have a fitted sheet, a flat sheet and a quilt with a full cover. BYO beach towels.

Property Specific Notes
Enough wood will be supplied for the fireplace/slow combustion wood heater for the first two nights. After that, guests must purchase top-up wood and kindling from the local petrol stations at their own cost.

Pets are welcome at this property. There is a surcharge of AUD 100 to have your pet stay. Please declare at the time of booking and refer to the terms and conditions regarding pets.

If you bring a pet, a surcharge of AUD 100 will be added after the booking is placed.

Wi-fi is offered as a complimentary extra. As there is no charge issues will be dealt with asap but cannot be guaranteed.

Notes
Payment for the booking warrants you and all guests staying will abide by the Code of Conduct for Short Term Rental Accommodation which can be viewed under the Guest Information tab on our website or a link which will be sent to you in your booking confirmation email. 

This property is a holiday rental, it is not a principal place of residence and there are no shared rooms. Enjoy your time in comfort and privacy. 

Terms and conditions apply for this property and payment warrants your agreement and that of all other guests staying at the property with you. 

Our standard check-in time is 3 pm and check-out time is 10 am. During the busy months of December and January, the check-in time is 4 pm to facilitate peak back-to-back changeovers. 

We offer a complimentary early check-in or late check-out time as a gesture of goodwill where booking and housekeeping schedules allow. Note that due to demand and housekeeping pressures, no early check-ins or late check-outs will be granted during the months of December and January. The safest way to secure an early check-in or later check-out is to book the property for an extra night. Contact us to see if we can offer a special rate for this extra night. All Sunday late check outs must be requested and approved prior to 5 pm on the Friday evening prior. All complimentary early check-ins or late check-outs must be confirmed in writing so that our housekeeping team are informed accordingly. 

The guest limits apply at all times during the booking. Any extra guests (this includes day visitors) above those that have been booked and paid for must be approved in writing prior to the stay. Only the guests staying at the property are permitted to be present. If you wish to have visitors in addition to booked guests, you must advise us in writing prior to your stay and ensure you receive written permission. This is not possible at all properties. 

NSW Planning has passed laws that affect guests. The Code of Conduct for holiday renting can be found on our website under the Guest Information tab. In Section 2.5.2 of the STR Code of Conduct, guests have an obligation to ensure the peace and comfort of neighbours and other occupants of the premises (if strata) near holiday rental properties. This means guests have to be very mindful of noise made in or outside the property that can disrupt neighbours at any time of the day. 

If you or any other guest receives a warning regarding excess noise or excess guests, you may be asked to leave the property immediately with no refund of monies. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited. 

This property is approved for accommodation only. No mattresses, tents, caravans or more cars than the property accommodates are allowed. Under no circumstances are the following activities permitted at any of our properties: motorbikes, dirt bikes, quad bikes, use of firearms or air rifles, fireworks. 

For safety reasons and to comply with insurance requirements, guests are prohibited from charging electric vehicles at any property that does not have a dedicated EV charging station. Charging electric vehicles without proper infrastructure poses a fire hazard, and in the unfortunate event of an incident, insurance cover may be compromised, and the guest held liable. If in doubt, ask our team for the closest EV charging station.

Out of peak season stays of a week or more may qualify for a discount, please send us a message. 

Information during your stay can be found in the Guest Information Folder or by calling our office 24/7. 

For your added security, this property is managed by a Licensed Real Estate Agent. We will never request payments be made to an overseas bank account and your money is held safely in our Trust Account until after your departure.

Good location, comfortable house
Som WD 40 would have been useful, sliding door does need attention. The house is well fitted out. Maybe some fans in the bedroom s to save using the air con.

A beautiful place for a relaxing break
Check in was easy and simple, when we arrived we were taken back by the amazing view! So close to the bay, and in walking distance to wonderful clean beaches. Such a beautiful location, with friendly locals and laid back coastal vibe. Everything was thought of and the property was clean, tidy and just so homely. I would definately go back, I feel we need to book for Summer! Only thing I would have loved (as we sadly had almost a week of rain) is an undercover area for the dogs to stay warm and dry when we headed out. The yard got a bit sloshy with so much rain - couldn't be helped. Dogs are allowed in the house however wouldn't want them unsupervised in an unfamiliar house for too long. Thanks for a lovely relaxing break.

Good location but not value for money
Location and outlook was good. For the money we payed though you would expect good quality beds and bedding but they weren't. Also there is no cover over the verandah, or between the house and the studio and as it rained for much of our stay, we got wet every time we were going between the two. We couldn't sit outside and enjoy the view either. Next time, I would stay a street or two back in a house with a covered verandah and save our money.

General
A couple of maintenance issues Vacuum cleaner did not work and picture had fallen off the wall prior to when we arrived. Yard was listed as dog friendly, but we had to block holes in fences The property has a great location and really enjoyed our stay would recommend to all.

Beachside Getaway
We had a lovely stay at this property. Was well set up for our family with my two sons staying in the back cottage and the adults in the main cottage. Great location right by the water (you could spot dolphins from the balcony!) and walking distance to the shops. Well set up generally - couple of basic things missing (like rubbish bags!) but otherwise no complaints. Would stay there again.

Bay Cottage management let us down
The property was in a superb location and with its enclosed yard and courtyard was perfect for our pet dog. However, the cabin ensuite was mouldy & unventilated , the window unable to be opened and had spiders and cobwebs. The main house had obviously not been cleaned- toilet paper in the toilet bowl, an empty drink can left on coffee table- awful! The dishwasher door latch was broken. I messaged the managing rental company about this but I received no response. The bathroom door could not be locked. The worst thing however occurred the day before check-in( in fact 22 hours before!) I was informed by Holiday Rental Specialists that our holiday at Bay Cottage had to be cancelled because the owner was occupying the property. After 3 phone calls, and the case being escalated to Ric, a team manager, I was told that our booking would go ahead. I was relieved but the hours of not knowing whether our special friends reunion holiday would go ahead we’re very stressful and distressing. After this experience I will NEVER book with Stayz if Holiday Rental Specialists are the property managers. We completed feedback forms at the property but so far we have not heard back from this rental company. I would appreciate it if Stayz management follow up this complaint and inform me of any outcome. A very disappointing and upsetting experience. Jennifer Blevins

Spectacular view
Bay cottage is a well equipped simple cottage. The perfect waterside retreat. Great location and easy communication. The highlight is the expansive deck where we spent most of our time.
