"This cabin was as described in the listing. Located on a hill and surrounded by beautiful pine trees, it is serene and the wrap-around porch is the perfect place for coffee, meals, and relaxing as the sun sets behind the mountains. The bed was comfortable as was the living room. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking lots of meals. The local convenience store was minutes away, which was a nice surprise. It’s about as private and quiet as you can get. We confirm what others note about the home being well-equipped. And we can add that there are top-notch mattresses - a real bonus! "This cabin is nestled high in the Jemez Mountains in a small neighborhood surrounded by national forest. The trails around the cabin are excellent whether you step out of the cabin for a hike or drive to one of the many trailheads along Highway 4. The area around the cabin was very quiet during my wife and I's weeklong stay. The kitchen was well stocked for meal preparation and the cabin was quite comfortable for sleeping and lounging after a long day of hiking. I would recommend it for people...
