If it is a View you are looking for, look no further !! Be sure to Bring your Binoculars. You have a 35 mile Panoramic View from the Back Deck of the Cabin.
The Cabin sits on the Edge of the Arkansas Grand Canyon. The views are Breathtaking and Peaceful.
Enjoy spending time with the Family and seeing the Occasional Wildlife.
The Cabin is located near popular Hiking Trails, Arkansas Grand Canyon, and The Buffalo River.

Above the Fog Cabin is a 3 bdrm, 5 Bed, 2.5 bath. It is a New Cabin, built in 2023.
Master Bdrm has a Queen Bed w/a private Bthroom and a Stand up Shower. The views are spectacular from the Master Bedroom windows which overlook the back deck .
Other 2 Bedrooms and Bathroom are upstairs with shared shower/tub combo.
Second Bedroom has a Queen bed with a twin bed.
Third Bedroom has a Queen bed with a twin bed.
A Fully Stocked Kitchen with All New Appliances.
Washer/Dryer
65” Smart TV w/ Hot Spot
Unlimited Wi-Fi
Back Deck with Gas Grill , Fire pit in the yard with a Picnic Table with a view.

Cabin is located within minutes to Favorite Hiking Trails…. Round Top trail, Steel Creek Overlook, Kyles Landing Trail to name a few. You will be Within 30 min. Of Ponca, where you can view the Elk. A very popular destination for your visit to this area. Rock Climbing is a Popular Sport that attracts many climbers to this area. Horseshoe Canyon Dude Ranch is a World Class Destination for the Climbing Enthusiasts. Cabin is within 30 min. of some of the Best Rock Bluffs in the Country. If you happen to come to this area to Float the Upper Buffalo River, there are a couple of canoe rental businesses that can provide you with what you need for a fun filled adventure. Riverview Motel(Jasper), Buffalo Rio (Low Gap) and Buffalo River Canoes( Mt. Sherman). When the water levels are to low in thus area, conoeing shifts to the Lower Buffalo River area. You will need to contact Crockett Canoe Rental, Harriet Ar. ( 1 hr 15 min.) from the cabin.They can give you all the best River information and canoe rental. The lower River area is approximately 56.5 miles(1.5 hrs) from the cabin. For ATV Rentals and Trails contact Wilderness Rider Buffalo Ranch and Adventure Park, Kingston Ar. ( 1 hr. From cabin). Our local water falls include, Eye of the Needle, Hammerschmidt Falls, Fern Falls, Balanced Rock Falls, to name a few. There are to many wonderful things to do while you enjoy your visit to the Jasper area. For you Restaurant choices, Jasper Has the Historical Ozark Cafe, Jasper Pizza Co., Sharon Kays Diner and Subway. The cabin is centrally located to many wonderful attractions to give you a great getaway or you can relax and enjoy the scenery that the cabin location has to offer. This Property has a “NO PET POLICY”.

I was looking for something with a wow factor for pur end of the year vacation and Above the Fog definitely delivers that.The cabin is well kept and was very clean. The views are amazing and the location is close to everything.We will definitely be back

Amazing view! Our cabin was perfect. It was clean and comfortable. Our host was very responsive with any questions that we had. There were thoughtful touches provided like s’more ingredients and firewood for the fire pit. We had a great time and would definitely stay in this cabin again.

Above the fog? Above and beyond what we could have hoped for!

The whole experience exceeded our expectations. The level of care and detail the host provides to accommodate guests is unmatched. Not to mention the beauty and comfort of the cabin and its spectacular view across the Arkansas Grand Canyon. We came to star gaze and this location didn't disappoint.

This is a first. This cabin actually exceeded our expectations. Everything was clean and comfortable. We had firewood for the firepit, all the fixings for s'mores and a bag of ice in the freezer for our trip home. Oh and the views goes without saying.

Beautiful View of the Arkansas Grand

The “Above the Fog” cabin was everything we hoped it would be for our week in beautiful Arkansas! The cabin is conveniently located near Jasper, the Buffalo River, and several of the waterfalls featured in Tim Ernst’s book “Arkansas Waterfalls”. We enjoyed coffee every morning overlooking the Arkansas Grand Canyon and fixed several dinners in the well equipped kitchen. Tammy was incredibly responsive to any questions we had and check-in was seamless! We hope to stay again!

Beautiful View & Impeccably Clean!

I really want to give this place a 5-star review! A few suggestions/personal preference…. PROs - so many! GORGEOUS cabinPrivate deck with majestic view. Exceptionally clean, kitchen was mostly well-stocked.Location is PERFECT! CONS - personal personal but I want to pass along as this is a bit expensive for area…VERY firm Queen bed in main floor bedroom. Only one nightstand. Cheap, flat pillows and microfiber (hot) sheets. We ended up going upstairs to sleep in another bedroom (in separate beds) after the first night of very little sleep - not ideal for a couple’s getaway! Recommend King bed in Master. Please hang window coverings in upstairs dorm windows- saw this recommendation in an early review but are still not covered. We prefer room-darkening so we can sleep in on vacation. Not many table/floor lamps in living/kitchen area, so had to use overhead lights which were bright and cool/harsh. Water pressure in showers was “meh.”Had to ask for check-in instructions and were sent in text the night before - no check-out instructions. We left it completely clean - even washed sheets we only used once. Hoping for positive feedback. :)We come to the area 1-2 times per year and probably won’t stay here again but most people may find it perfect. Thank you!!

Can I give this more than five stars!?

This property has all you can want, stunning views, well appointed kitchen, multiple places to enjoy the outdoors, and ample linens. The host was easy to communicate with and the cabin was clean and fresh. We certainly want to come back. Alum Cove, Lost Valley and Triple Falls were our favorite hikes and the waterfall book in the cabin was very helpful in planning our outings.

Beautiful Cabin in Arkansas

The view at the cabin is stunning. We couldn’t believe how beautiful it was. We got to see the sunrise in the morning with the fog below covering the valleys. We now know why it is called “Above the Fog.” The cabin was clean and organized. There were plenty of board games and a s’mores bar which was nice. Tammy was responsive to any questions we had and even called me the day before we came down to let us know about some construction going on one of the roads to the cabin. I do want to say that the roads to the cabin are steep and may be difficult for motorcycles or smaller vehicles, we are familiar with the area so luckily we rented a car just for this. Overall, the stay was perfect and we hope to visit again.

Perfect getaway!

This property was the perfect place to get away! The house was clean and had everything we needed and the property was very well maintained. The view from the porch was awesome and then heading out onto the lookout deck was breathtaking! We will definitely be back! One thing to note is the first section of the driveway is very rough but evens out after a short distance.

Motorcycle Trip

Great area and beautiful scenery. Loved the property. Sat on the deck everyday. Only issue we had was the super rough driveway. But we made it work....a bit difficult with bikes. But it is just another amazing story to tell about our stay and time in Arkansas.
