"My room was comfortable and clean but really really small. Breakfast nor coffee were NOT available at 6:30am as I was told when I checked in. Check in is the only time I saw a staff member. I like this place but its a hole in the wall that is good for a short stay."

"Once I found the front desk in an unlabeled building apart from the rooms, it was great! Too much traffic on the frontage road prevented me from getting over to the entrance where I could have seen the portico, as a result the second entrance behind the building led to a very confusing beginning. Turn at the Mexican restauranr. Rooms were great, though TV is smarter than me."

"The STAFF WAS GREAT! They constantly went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable, our kids had everything they needed while swimming, and were very friendly. The rooms were great, pool was great, everything was great. We’ll be back!"

"Area is terrible as we drove up people were trying to approach the car on the main road. Front desk clerk was super friendly. Beds were nice but pillows were hard. 3 small hard pillows to each bed. Beds were clean but white was stained yellow. Tub was high and hard for me to get into and slippery. Tub was coming apart. Ceiling in bathroom was coming down. Blackout curtains were half hanging on. Fridge and microwave provided. We had to get an emergency hotel and this was within budget. ...

"The hotel is clean but dated. The staff is very friendly. Parking was good and easy. The bed was very uncomfortable and the toilet had a hard time flushing. "

"Loved the convenience to Salado’s Main Street and yet since the property was not in the town it was very quiet, serene and relaxing. My favorite was sitting in the rockers on the porch and watching the clouds and the birds. The rooms in the main house are super clean and beautifully decorated. The food was fabulous and owners are delightful. Will definitely visit there again. "
