"I stayed here while I was visiting The Nations Glory Barn in Waldorf. It is the coziest little cottage. Loved taking walks around the property too. They keep it very clean and it had everything I needed. The owners were very nice and always got back to me in a timely manner. I would love to stay again sometime! :)"

"Great property with an interesting layout. Was perfect for our annual 4-generation family vacation. First floor BR was just right for out 75-ish seniors, and plenty of room upstairs for everyone else. Just a short drive to the beach for the girls to float on our tubes, and great fishing for the guys. Dorothy gave us a tour when we arrived, and Jerry, the owner/architect, lives nearby and Ray had great fishing tips. Jerry's artist gifts are evident throughout the property. Gracious and welcoming....

"This is now the 3rd or 4th year in a row that we've started with this VRBO & we always love it! We were in a different unit this year, ground level with a separate entrance. This added to the convenience when it comes to carrying in our items & letting our dog out. Would definitely stay again!"

"My two young sons and I had a very nice visit to The Boathouse. The lake is well used but not busy and the water is calm. We spent our time on the kayaks, fishing from the dock, and on land with a fire to warm up the cool summer evenings. The Boathouse is well-kept, comfortable, and charming and the hosts are delightful and generous. The drive into the twin cities is very easy. I would definitely recommend. "

"Our extended family had a fun 5 night stay on Madison Lake. We had 6 adults and 4 kids. There is a large game room with a pool table, ping pong, fooseball, keyboard, and a variety of games and toys, and a 2nd fridge. The kitchen is large and well stocked with pots and pans and dishes galore, and a Kuerig coffee machine. They even provided some snacks, waters, and a couple bottles of wine! What a nice surprise! We enjoyed time by the lake having a fire in the fire pit and playing corn hole toss....
