"The cabin was just like the pictures. Everything was very clean and comfortable. We had a little confusion with the A/C when we got there. I messaged the host and received a fast response and was able to easily resolve the issue. We were very impressed with the cleanliness especially since pets are allowed. There were zero pet odors. Will definitely be recommending this cabin. "

"The cottage is really clean and decorated with a nice mountains theme. It’s a little small inside, but has lots of space outside to roam around, and the koi pond is relaxing to hang out by. The owners are very attentive to your needs and respond quickly to any issues. The only thing that would have made it even better would have been some footrests to go with the porch chairs. We will be back! "

"This was my second trip to this cabin, this time with a group of girlfriends. I absolutely love this cabin! It’s always clean and stocked with all of the essential cooking supplies (including a convenient way to buy firewood!). The rooms are comfortable, the living room is cozy, nights around the fire pit and mornings on the deck with coffee are perfect! It’s very close to all of the Ricketts Glen hikes - which is why I came back with the group! Our host Jessica was easy to communicate with, and...

"Perfect getaway"

"Thank you for sharing your beautiful mountain retreat with us! The thoughtful touches upon arrival made us feel so welcome. We loved exploring Ricketts Glen, the Switchback Trail, the creek, and ending our days with a cozy mountainside bonfire. The views were breathtaking, and our fur child had the best time too! We will definitely be back."

"We had a great stay, and would come back. Ours was a multigenerational gathering and everyone was pleased. Kathy is easy and prompt to work with. Terrific location, the porch overlooking the lake and the number of sizable bedrooms set this apart. Better stocked kitchen than 95 percent of short term rentals. It’s a very minor thing but we could only get basic, local channels and no cable (ie no ESPN) if that’s important to you. It was only a nice to have, as the real star is being out...

"Prefect for a weekend away! The shack had everything we needed. The loft bedroom was a hit for our 7 year old. Beds were comfy and there were plenty of blankets. We were able to walk into town and also explored the old rail lines. West side deli was prefect to sit outside and eat lunch. Quick drive to Loyalsock for hiking. Make sure you pack warm, it gets chilly! Deck was great for a cup of coffee in the morning. Really a cool little spot especially if anyone in your family loves trains. "

"Great stay. Fun house with great back porch! The location is one of the best in Eagles Mere!"

"We enjoyed our stay very much and found this to be a perfect spot for a quick Labor Day Weekend getaway. Clean and cozy, with plenty of space for our family to spread out. We especially enjoyed sitting on the porch and relaxing. The fireworks over the lake on Sunday evening were an added bonus. Exactly what we were looking for! "

"Beautiful cabin! It was perfect for our family getaway and had everything we needed. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing—we left feeling refreshed. Highly recommend!"

"The cabin is simple and compact but had everything that we needed…bedrooms, bathroom, full kitchen and comfortable living room. The property is gorgeous (tree canopy and ferns as the understory) and the fire pit (with ample wood provided!) was perfect for a relaxing evening after visiting 30 waterfalls in 1 day (53 waterfalls in 3 days). The house is convenient to Ricketts Glen State Park and Red Rock Scoops, which has great ice cream with some unique flavors for a reward after our long hikes. "

"Thanks for sharing your welcoming cottage for our stay! We enjoyed kayaking and I took the rowboat out and caught a 20” LMB across the Lake from the decision city. The anchor rope broke as it was frayed at the end. Also the ants were very assertive in the kitchen until we put all food in the refrig.Best regards Tom and Sylvia"
