"Tajaa Pha is a hidden jewel in the area of Patan, Kathamandu. The hotel is for those who value a homey feeling. Shailendra and Amrita, the owners, make sure that your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. Their friendliness and hospitality is sincere and it is evident in the amazing breakfast they serve every day. Rooms are comfortable, quiet, and the ones in the front have a wonderful view of the pond, with the mountains as the background. "

"This is a lovely new hotel in Kathmandu. Spotless rooms and attractively maintained exterior and interior. Nothing to complain about and only good things to say. When the power went out several times, as it is prone to do occasionally in Kathmandu, the generator kicked in immediately. Heater worked well, for the cool nights. Staff went out of their way to be helpful. Food at breakfast and dinner was great. So was the coffee. I will stay here again."

"We stayed 9 nights at Orchid Home. Orchid Home B&B is quietly located on short distance by bigger road. About 7 minutes walk from Orchid is a taxi stand and from there you can reach all places in Kathmandu. Every morning enjoy of a wonderful breakfast of eggs, freshly baked pastries and fruit. "We had a good experience from checkin to departure. The staff were friendly and very helpful but didn't hover over us. Our spacious room, the restaurant and the facilities in general are well maintained, pleasantly decorated and clean. Hot water for a shower was plentiful. This hotel obviously has a history in the area and the owner/manager take pride in providing a quality experience for guests.There is another excellent restaurant right next door. "Établissement très bien placé au calme. A recommander. Un des meilleurs que nous avons fait au Népal. Le propriétaire est plein d'attention: il reçoit comme chez lui. La chambre spacieuse est très propre et joliment décorée. La salle de bain avec eau chaude à volonté. Petit déjeuner excellent. Il y a egalement un balcon avec une jolie vue. Le tout se situe à 2 pas du centre historique de Patan. Bref un coup de coeur."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The hosts were very caring. The helped us in evey way possible. Because I was busy with some work during my visit, they offered to show my mother around Kathmandu. We had a great experience at the homestay and would love to visit them again."

"Wonderful stay at the hotel. It was perfect location in a quieter area but still close to main road where can get transport easily to move around. Many lovely restaurants and cafe in area and safe to walk around with less traffic also by hotel. The staff is very friendly and always helpful. I enjoyed my stay and will come back again. "

"Excellente Guest house pour le confort, l'emplacement loin du bruit et du trafic (pollution et poussière de la grande avenue), près des commerces. Je le recommanderai aussi pour l'accueil et l'amabilité des propriétaires. Alexander est un jeune homme super!"
