"Lovely staff that were very attentive and the rooftop restaurant was a nice spot for breakfast or dinner. Close proximity to the fort and main street."

"Excellent location at the heart of town. Very clean and well maintained facility built with stone, similar to what the kings of the bygone era would do. "L’hotel è gestito da un indiano che ha sposato una spagnola e il suo gusto nell’’arredamento si vede in tutto l’hotel, veramente molto carino mantenendo fede allo stile indiano.
Abbiamo anche cenato sulla terrazza dell’hotel con vista del forte prendendo un pollo al limone non piccante perfetto dopo tanti giorni di cucina speziata.
Anche la pulizia è ai livelli europei, una rarità in India. Unica pecca la stradina per arrivarci ma siamo in India e le strade sono queste. "

Rooms were on the small side. Very clean room and bathroom was exceptionally clean for Indian standards. Day staff could speak excellent English. Roof Top restaurant gave a
scenic view of Jaislmer and the fort. The restaurant closes at 6 p.m. The only complaint which
the hotel cannot control is the noise at night with barking dogs. One of the best places to stay for budget accommodations."
"The Marina Mahal is a great value option close to the centre of Jaisalmer. Akbar and Marina are a delightful Indian/New Zealand couple who are extremely hospitable and who do everything to make your stay memorable. They can arrange a brilliant trip into the desert. The vegetarian food in the rooftop restaurant is excellent and the views are stunning. Rooms are comfortable with AC, reliable hot water and free WiFi and the whole place exudes local atmosphere. Highly recommended!"
