Very pleasant unit close to the beach
We were very impressed with the condo. It was clean, modern, quiet, and well located within walking distance to the beach and less than a 5-minute drive to downtown. We'll be using it again on future visits.

Beach Getaway
Too bad the weather was so miserable… but we still enjoyed our time in Fernandina Beach. Took walks on the beach in between rain storms and enjoyed strolling through the lovely downtown area. This condo was clean and comfortable and close to the beach…definitely would book it again.

Great Location
The interior was indeed renovated and was in pristine condition. Location is near everything we like to do, i.e., walking trails, beach, restaurants, Fort Clinch, etc. and a short drive to the historic district. The outside patio area needs to be updated and both sliding doors need to be replaced. We never used the patio and upper deck.

Great location
Loved our stay! It was perfect for the 3 of us, right down the street from the beach. Easy access for a wagon. Only concern was the stairs because there is no railing, safety concern for us because we have a toddler. There wasn’t a way to block it off, but we were on the go so it didn’t bother us too much. Location is perfect, 1.5 miles from the Main Street with a lot of shopping, museums and restaurants. Highly recommend!

The layout, décor, and furnishings were all lovely, and we appreciated having only a short walk to the beach and a short drive to everything Amelia Island has to offer.

We enjoyed an excellent stay! Property was nice and just as described. Close to everything and short walk to the beach. Definitely would recommend! Very good value! Shower took a little getting to know and wasn't the greatest, but nothing that took away from our trip!

Great Condo in Perfect Area
We both really liked the condo- it had everything we needed and there was plenty of space. Very clean and well organized. Recent upgrades made it even feel nicer. Walking distance to two great restaurants and Main Beach.

Conveniently located posh townhome
My husband booked The Turtle Hut for some much needed R & R for us and our 19 yo daughter. We were pleasantly surprised with the posh and tranquil decor and cleanliness. TTH had everything we could possibly need including shampoo/conditioner/body wash. While others mentioned hot water issues, we did not experience any problems. The internet was a little spotty, but it wasn’t a deal breaker. The beds were comfy as were the hotel quality linens. Although we didn’t use it, there were a bbq grill and washer/dryer for our convenience. Marty was very accommodating and quick to respond. My husband took a seat on the upper patio and was attacked by a nest of wasps that had a hive under the arm of a chair. Marty came right away and took care of it which we appreciated. The TTH is very conveniently located a block from the beach with a direct access and ramp to the beach. It was not crowded at all which we enjoyed. Fort Clinch is a 3 min drive and Downtown is a quick 10 min drive that was great for shopping and restaurants. We will definitely come back here. Thank you Marty for a wonderful and memorable stay.

Nicely Updated Property, Great Location
The unit is nicely updated and is furnished with comfortable beds and a really nice shower--- although as others have said, the hot water in the shower is a bit finicky and takes some finessing. The location is prime, just two blocks from a nice quiet spot on the beach, four blocks from Main Beach, adjacent to Fort Clinch State Park, and convenient for accessing downtown. We did have an A/C issue which the property managers quickly responded to and dealt with immediately with great communication start to finish. We would definitely recommend to others and would stay again if returning to the area.

This property was in a great location. Easy walk to the beach. Easy drive to town. The property had ample space for me, my wife and two children. Enjoyed the pool and tennis courts.

This townhouse was very quiet, with updated furnishings and all you needed for a comfortable stay. It could not have been cleaner or better organized. We had a wonderful and relaxing stay.

Excellent little place!
Nice and cozy little place to enjoy the warm Florida weather. Bedroom was amazing, got 7 great nights of sleep. Loved the kitchen, had everything I needed for cooking. Once I figured out how TV worked, spent some nice time enjoying reruns of classic TV shows. The upstairs patio is a great place to read and take in the outdoor view. Only downside was the shower. Ran fine with cold water, but would lose pressure when I turned it to a certain hot temperature. Had to go in and out extremely quick, not enjoyable. 9.5/10, would be a perfect 10 if shower is fixed. If cold showers are your thing, it’s fine. Would definitely recommend for a group of 2 to 4. Hope to be back next year!

Quiet, Clean, Relaxing
Our stay in Roger’s townhome was perfect for a long weekend getaway with our twin boys! Just a short walk to the beach and the sound of the waves can be heard as soon as you step out of the door, making it a very relaxing atmosphere. Renovated and well maintained property! We would absolutely stay here again!

Convenient walk to the beach, very clean
This property is a quick walk to the beach, the property was very clean. Fernandina Beach is a great place to visit. For a two bedroom the unit was very spacious, the room were very generously sized, there was a full bath (shower-only) and a half-bath with washer/dryer. We enjoyed our stay, and would recommend this property. Our only feedback would be to the owner/manager to please provide more than two laundry pods and to make available extra garbage bags and make it clear where you take garbage. Also the latch on the backgate needs to replaced, it was near impossible to operate. Very frustrating with a 2 year old in tow.

Awesome condo!
You will love this condo. Short walk to the beach with direct access to the sand. Everything we could’ve asked for. Clean, comfortable and the communication with the owner was spot on. He even left a bottle of champagne for us because we were celebrating our anniversary. Now that is thoughtful.

Everything was as expected from the VRBO listing. We were at the end of a week long vacation from North Carolina to St Augustine Florida and it was nice to have this property to rest up before our drive home on Sunday. Really enjoyed dinner at David's on Friday night.

Fun with friends at the Turtle Hut
We had a fantastic stay at this lovely residence in a lovely beach community. The townhome was modern, clean, well decorated and a few minutes drive from several wonderful restaurants. We had the beach, fancy dinners and a comfy place to relax.

Lovely place!!!!
A lovely place to stay in a quiet neighborhood! The house was exceptionally clean with beautiful decor throughout! Only a 3 minute walk to the beach which was very convenient. Property management was prompt in answering any questions we had. Highly recommend this property!
