THE FIRE PIT AND BACK PORCH

The backyard is where this house shines. A covered back porch with outdoor dining sets the stage for long dinners, the charcoal grill handles burgers and fresh catch, and the fire pit turns every evening into the best part of the day. The yard is private and shaded by tall pines, with plenty of grass for kids to run and for yard games before dark.

A MILE FROM THE BEACH

The beach is about a mile away, an easy hop by car or bike, and Peters Point Beach, a local favorite for its wide sand and easy parking, is close by. Come home through the large mudroom so the sand stays outside, and rinse off at the outdoor shower before heading in. Beach gear left by previous guests is often on hand, though it is not guaranteed.

RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ISLAND

The central island location is a quiet advantage. You are minutes from historic downtown Fernandina Beach with its brick streets, seafood restaurants, and boutique shops, and an equal, easy drive to the north and south ends of Amelia Island, so Fort Clinch State Park, the golf courses, and every beach are all within reach.

LIVING ROOM

The open living room is bright and welcoming, with comfortable sofas, blue armchairs, and a big tufted ottoman in the middle of it all. A fireplace adds warmth on cooler evenings, a Smart TV is ready for movie night, and a shelf of games is waiting for rainy afternoons and family tournaments. Fast WiFi runs through the whole house, and a dedicated workspace sits in a room with a door for anyone who needs to work.

KITCHEN & DINING

The open kitchen is made for cooking together while everyone else hangs out nearby. Stainless steel appliances, generous counter space, a dishwasher, oven, stove, microwave, toaster, and a full set of cookware and utensils are all here. Coffee lovers are covered three ways, with a drip coffee maker, a K Cup machine, and an espresso machine. The dining table seats the whole group, and the porch table is right outside for meals in the fresh air.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS

Three queen bedrooms and a twin room with two beds mean four doors that close, so couples get privacy and the kids get their own room. The bedrooms are bright, with ceiling fans and coastal decor, and the primary bedroom has its own Smart TV. Both bathrooms have been remodeled: the primary bathroom has a large walk in tile shower, and the hall bathroom has a tub and shower combination that makes bath time easy for little ones.

EVERYDAY COMFORTS

Fresh linens and towels are provided, along with a starter supply of toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, body wash, laundry pods, dish pods, dish soap, and coffee. A washer and dryer, central air and heat, extra pillows and blankets, an iron, a hair dryer, and hangers make longer stays easy. Smoke and carbon monoxide alarms and a fire extinguisher are in place.

EASY ARRIVAL

The big driveway has room for up to four vehicles, which makes multi family trips simple. Self check in with a keypad lets you arrive on your own schedule, and arrival instructions are sent 48 to 12 hours before check in.

WINTER MONTHS ON THE ISLAND

Special monthly rates are available December through February, ideal for snowbirds, remote workers, or anyone trading winter for island life. Ask us about availability.

EXPLORE AMELIA ISLAND

Historic downtown Fernandina Beach is minutes away for waterfront seafood, shops, and history. Fort Clinch State Park offers trails, fishing, and the old fort, and the island's golf courses, parks, and nature trails are all an easy drive.

GOOD TO KNOW

Check in is after 4:00 PM, and checkout is before 10:00 AM, with a maximum occupancy of 8 guests. Early check ins and late check outs are not available March through November. This is a non smoking and non pet home, and no parties or events are permitted. The driveway fits up to four vehicles. A starter supply of essentials is provided, and beach gear is not guaranteed.
