"Lovely rental, gracious host, TONS of space, cozy, everything is within 15 minutes. The only things I would say to the contrary is... there's a window in the kitchen I wish had a blind or a curtain (for privacy), and the water take a while to get warm. If I am ever to go back to Roanoke Rapids (or surrounding areas) if available I would DEFINITELY stay here again."

"My husband and I enjoyed the dock, played music, had nice furniture to sunbathe and relax, also great for looking at stars, we used the kayaks and floats, easy water access for swimming and using water toys. There home is very cozy, easy to relax. Close to the Downtown area for dining and shopping. We will bereturning next summer"

"What a great setting for a multigenerational family gathering! The home was clean and exceedingly well stocked with everything you need for a lake getaway. The dock sits on a quiet cove, perfect for fishing, swimming, paddleboarding, and kayaking, and has cleats to tie a rented boat for longer journeys out to the main lake. Game room and lower level rec room provided variety for evening intertainment. Highly recommend!"

"Great house and location. We loved our stay. The cove is the perfect place to float on a hot summer day. Be sure to bring your floats. We rented a boat for the week and had no trouble docking it at the pier. The house is well stocked. Check in was a breeze. Hot tub was a treat. The neighbors are super nice and the owners were great communicators. Would definitely recommend the house! "

"We had a family gathering at this wonderful lake house, and it was exactly what we were looking for! This large, beautiful house is located on a quiet cove of Lake Gaston, with easy access into the water for boating and floating. We appreciated being off the main channels of the lake on the holiday weekend, and we loved seeing all of the wildlife and birds in the area. "We had a wonderful time during our stay! We enjoyed being out on the water and exploring the different islands Lake Gaston has too ofter. The best part of our stay was hanging out on the amazing screened in porch!!! Whether we were drinking our morning coffee listening to the birds wake up, or smoking dinner on the trager!!
