We were surprised to learn this from your review as the nearest restaurant with a bar is 0.3 miles away and they typically close at 10 PM. Additionally, since we are not associated with any bars, our guests do not receive complimentary food or drink with their reservation. The hot tub is serviced every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and our maintenance team drained it again on Saturday after receiving your report. Again, we’re terribly sorry if the water did not return to normal before you were able to enjoy it. We sincerely apologize that the difficulties you encountered with the TV, stove, and heater were not properly addressed by our maintenance team, as this is certainly not up to our standard for customer care. We have reviewed the areas where we fell short with the appropriate teams and made sure that all issues have been resolved for future guests. Hi Julie, We are terribly sorry to hear that your stay at Alpine Cottage Studio was a one star experience. We take this type of feedback very seriously, so we looked into all of these details carefully. As stated in our VRBO confirmation message, your confirmation email, and the guest portal we sent access instructions to on May 27, standard check-in time is 4PM but we send a message if your unit is available before 4PM. Your unique access code and access instructions were included in the confirmation email as well as the guest portal, which we include for convenience so that guests do not have to come to the office and can head straight to the unit. Your unit ready text was sent at 4:03PM and we apologize for the three minute delay, occasionally these slight delays do occur during our peak summer season. As for the wedding welcome gift bag, we did have a number of welcome gifts dropped off to be delivered, but there was not one that matched the name on your reservation, so the wedding planner said that they would drop it off themselves to risk any error. We often receive wedding gift bags, as we host wedding parties quite frequently, and have never had any issues with gifts not being delivered - we simply cannot deliver a bag that was never given to us. We will certainly pass your feedback regarding clothing storage along to the homeowner. We strive to present all of our listings accurately, and while we feel our listing photos make clear the positioning of this home from the creek, we refunded a sizable amount of your rental rate in good faith, so we are surprised to hear that despite this, you were still left with a one star impression.
