This two-bedroom, 750 square-foot cottage is your perfect outpost for adventures in Jackson Hole. The primary bedroom is appointed with a comfortable king bed, the guest bedroom features a queen bed, and the couch in the living room pulls out to sleep extra guests.

The property sits on the banks of Flat Creek and offers access to a shared hot tub among the guests of the Alpine Cottages. The shared hot tub is located right off the living room of Alpine Cottages three and four. There is a row of Adirondack chairs right on the bank of Flat Creek for anyone staying at the Alpine Cottages to enjoy.

Great stay

Loved the ā€œoff the beaten pathā€ location, which wasnā€™t more than a 5 min walk to downtown. Rooms were great, and took advantage of the hot tub and seats by the creek. There was a creepy trap door in the cabin I was not a fan of (I watch too many scary movies maybe), but I felt better when I put something heavy on it at night while we slept.

The perfect small cabin for a Jackson Hole get-away. This was our second year renting the same cabin in Jackson. Small, but super comfortable. I was there with my wife and adult daughter, but would be a great cabin for two couples. About a 10 min walk to town with all the restaurants and shops. Outpost has really great customer service and the communication leading up to the trip was spot on. Highly recommend!

This is a good property walking distance to town square

The management company is great. The place was clean and and at a very excellent location. There's a river that runs in back to the cabins and is very relaxing. The reason I'm leaving it 4 stars is that the walls are thin and you can hear everything in cabin next door. In addition, the patio door did not close properly. That is a safety issue that needs to be fixed.

Very Nice

There are many VRBO rentals that are houses condos or cabins that families own and use when not rented. Then there are company owned properties that are only rented. This is the later. Everything was fine but you can tell that no-one ever goes there that owns the place. There are no home type items in the property. No scissors no small tools very few but adequate pots and pans no basic need items like salt sugar spices or laundry detergent. I know I can go buy them but in most other rentals that are owned by a single owner that stays at the house occasionally these items are there. You can just tell this is strictly a rental not someones second home that they rent out. Barring the missing normal house items the cabin was very nice and located in a great spot.

Close and comfortable!

So great...3 block walk in to downtown JH, hot tub is such a bonus, heated tiles in the bathroom floors, and both times I called Outpost for help they were ON IT!! If I ever come back here, I won't even look for a different spot to stay!

Cute Cottage

Cute little place in walking distance to downtown. Comfortable beds and living area. A few things to be aware of - unit needs a little maintenance (switching tub to shower and back took the hulk), kitchen is equipped but not for major cooking (no full sized skillet as an example), walls are very very thin (you can hear your neighbors whole conversation - and Iā€™m sure our poor neighbors heard our screaming toddler!), parking is limited (plan to hike to unload your car). Iā€™d still call it 5 stars - walkable to downtown. Cute creek with ducks near by.

Great location in Jackson; cozy & convenient

Staff made arrival and check-in process seamless. Place was perfect for my wife and I. Enjoyed the #4 cabin with the hot tub directly out our patio door. Cozy electric fireplace-stove and convenient off-street parking. Located just a few blocks from main restaurant area in Jackson. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great Spot Within Walking Distance to Town Square

My fiancĆ© and I met our other couple friends in Jackson for Labor Day weekend (along with our dog). This was the perfect spot for us and weā€™d highly recommend it for your time in Jackson. The property was clean, the couch comfy, and the perfect location. We were a short walk from town square which made getting to coffee, restaurants, etc a breeze. However, itā€™s off the main drags enough to keep it quiet and peaceful at the same time. Loved having the creek running past and pretty area in back to sit and have coffee. Huge plus the yard had poop bags and disposal for our dog. I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the bed was and the two bedrooms worked well for us two couples there. Only thing about the main bedrooms bed, itā€™s big, but it seemed it was two smaller beds pushed together. Didnā€™t affect our sleep, just a note. We didnā€™t use the kitchen really, but had the basics needed. The outpost team was very communicative and easy to work with. We loved the property and had a great time, would definitely stay again if we return to Jackson.

The perfect hideaway

This is a quiet but in town location and right near the creek. We were very comfortable there. We were traveling with our dog and there was enough room to set up his soft crate. Hit has a cute kitchen that had all the necessities. This was our second time coming and will come again!!!

Not Accurate Description

The pictures of this property and description are not accurate. This is a 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 half bath. The full bath is situated between the 2 bedrooms. Therefore no privacy. The bedrooms have no furniture or closets. Therefore you cannot unpack. The beds do not have headboard. The hot tub is right outside the French doors on the patio. This is a shared hot tub. All of the cabins use this hot tub. Most nights it canā€™t be used because there are too many people renting and using it. The place smelled musty. Daily fumigation with febreeze was required. The furniture and area rug in the family room was disgusting. The furniture looked as though it was picked up roadside where someone else had thrown it away. The rug had a shedding problem so socks and clothes were constantly covered. The sitting chairs were stained and disgusting and therefore could jot be used. The couch material was gross and had stains as well. The end table was totally chipped. The entrance to the cabin was dirty, and the bbq grill was disgusting and needed to be thrown away, unusable. The outdoor chairs and table were filthy; however the Outpost crew cleaned them at our request. Thank you. Parking can be a challenge. Only 4 spaces. And street parking is not always available. This cabin is about location. Very short walk to downtown!

Basic but functional

Great communication from property management, but lots of issues with Unit 4. As reported by previous renters, the dishwasher doesnā€™t function and it seems no one notices as we came in to load of plates and glasses with gunk crusted on. Kitchen sink is leaking into cabinet underneath. The hot tub is on your front porch - which means most of the time other units are there on your front porch. Thatā€™s your main view and you get no privacy between 8am and 9pm. Garbage and dog poop littered the area, especially around the main bin. Kitchen supplies were minimal - no cooking knife beyond 3ā€, no spatula and nothing but salt and pepper. The place itself is functional and clean although chairs and sofa are worn out and stained. Just hoped for more given the price.
