"The house is massive and super cute! Lots of space to sleep and hang out. Full kitchen (cutest tiniest oven ever), and free washer/dryer with soap provided. Bathtub has an automatic heating feature which was super cool coming from a Canadian who has never seen this before. Super close to the ferry port. Fairly accessible by public transport from Hiroshima airport. "

"Muito bom no quesito custo e benefício. Fomos agradados com alguns brindes. Só o café da manhã que foi limitado por causa do corona. Quarto bem pequeno mas tranquilo pra um casal. Além da banheira individual no quarto, tem disponível um onsen (casa de banho japonês) no segundo andar com água termal natural com várias propriedades minerais da região local. "This place is awesome. I wish we had stayed longer. We stopped here for the night because it is the half way point for the Shimanami Kaido bike route. The residence was an independent structure with a large window looking out to the sea and the bridge. Sunrise was gorgeous. The unit has a beautiful bathroom, very nice bedroom and new clean kitchen. Everything about the residence was top-notch, including the amenities. The breakfast and dinner that we chose were amazing. Loved this place....

"私は住之江旅館の立地の良さや古いたたずまい、そしてまだ明るいうちに庭を眺めながら浴室に向かう廊下を歩くのが大好きです。しかし、それはこの宿の魅力の本質ではありません。魅力の本質、それはクールビューティーなおかみさんの人柄です。自然体で決して出しゃばることはありませんが、客の１人ひとりが何を必要としているかに気を配り、それぞれに素早く最高の答えを探して対応してくださいます。目立つことなく、しかし客の為に努力を惜しまない姿勢が素晴らしいです。このおかみさんの宿に泊まらない理由は見当たりません。"

"My daughter and I traveled to Japan for two weeks and stayed here in the middle of a 70K Shimanami Bike trip. I wish so much we'd booked an additional night. Of the seven hotels/ryokans we stayed during our trip, this was heads above all the others. The rooms were beautifully decorated and spacious and the ryokan was quite peaceful. The staff was wonderful- helpful and attentive. If I'm ever lucky enough to return to Japan and visit this area again, I'll return to this lovely property."

"Lovely small on the Shimanami Kaido bicycle route. Spacious room with Japanese style beds on raised platform and tatami mat sitting area with table and cushions. In-room amenities included electric kettle with tea and coffee supplies, Bose Bluetooth speaker, safe, complimentary water, juice, and beer. Staff were exceptionally nice and helpful. There are onsite baths, but we didn’t use them. The hotel is located on a charming street, just a few steps from the water and right near the ferry port....

"We came here for the biking and loved this hotel. It’s not easy to get to by public transport. You’ll want a taxi. The rooms are nice and large by Japan standards. The food was amazing. You don’t pick from a menu but they serve many different kinds of food. It is seafood focused. So if you don’t like seafood it might not be the place for you. We love Japanese style food so we were amazed. Definitely a highlight of our trip. "
