"Lovely hotel, lovely room, friendly staff. Recommend to book the three course menu (changes regularly) for dinner at the hotel. I had venison ragout and rack of lamb as main and both were superb. Dinner room is a cosy place, good wine list. Dinner was preceded by some drinks at the hotel bar which, for the size of the hotel has an excellent selection of spirits at very good value-for-money prices. You select your breakfast choices in the evening from an offer ring of various fresh juices, tea...

"The bar area was stylish and welcoming with a warming fire. The staff were friendly and accommodating which gave a relaxed atmosphere. Food was great (1 Sunday roast and 2 steaks) and reasonably priced. We had a 1 night stay in a courtyard room which was a good size and perfect as we had a dog with us. A decent breakfast set us up for the next day. Highly recommend."

""Great for a female solo traveller I took myself off to Devon for a well needed solo break." The Loft was cosy and clean. I felt very safe there, the location is brilliant for other beauty spots like Salcombe and Totnes. Lukesland Gardens is worth a visit too. The loft itself has lovely skylights that you can see so many stars from on a clear night. Good facilities and the wifi didn't fail me either as I needed to work from my laptop during the time I stayed. You have to visit The Ring Feeder...
