"Our stay at the JEMH Cottage was everything we wanted it to be. Our one daughter and son-in-law were with us and their three daughters ages 17, 8, 6 and our younger daughter and son-in-law and their 1year old daughter. They all said they had the “the best time ever. Everyone had comfortable beds to sleep in, even the 1 year old had a pack-n-play available for her. The cottage was very clean inside. "Very relaxing stay. Modern house with all amenities. Owners were available and even reached out when the fire ban was set in place; we would not have known. Our stay was during a very hot week but we were never hot in the house. The house is very open at the back with large windows and patio doors providing a beautiful view of the river. The open design enables voices to carry to the second floor main bedroom and partly open loft bedroom so bring ear plugs. Also recommended are eye masks for...

"This location was excellent. We were a big group with kids and had more than enough space. The backyard was great for the kids, bonfire and space to play games, and a good dock to dock our boat. Great communication with the host and very clean. Would recommend this place. "

Location is pretty central to Wendy’s Market, Elgin and Westport to stock up on groceries. House had all we needed (laundry detergent, dishwashing detergent, clean towels/linens. AC was nice to have as it was hot during our stay. House was cleaned nicely for our arrival. "
