The service was exceptional, the breakfasts good and varied day to day, our room was very quiet and the front desk staff could not have been more helpful. We particularly enjoyed the History of trade tour led by one of the managers, which showed us parts of the city we would never have discovered by ourselves.

We stayed for 6 nights, great location (walkable to major sightseeing sites, train station, port to catch sea buses to Asia side and new district in north). Staffs were friendly and hard working, rooms (we had connecting rooms) were clean with nice amenities. They even celebrated my husband’s birthday with a small cake and gifts. We will definitely come back when we visit Istanbul again!

This hotel and the staff exceeded every expectation. The room was exceptionally clean and the bedding very comfortable. We had a room with a view of the park across the street, and the hotel is close to the tram and many good restaurants. In spite of the convenient location, it was on a quiet side street! The best thing about the hotel, however, was the incredible staff. When our trip had a few wrinkles, through no fault of theirs, they helped us sort things out and it made for a wonderful trip. I hope we can return to this gracious hotel some day soon.

We had a great experience at this lovely hotel. It was nice to have a balcony and very spacious room. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the staff was so kind and friendly.

My husband & I stayed here during our honeymoon! This was by far our favorite stay during our time in Turkey. Beautiful spa, wonderful staff, an excellent atmosphere overall. We hope to visit again!

A beautiful hotel located in a very convenient spot near several great shops, restaurants and points of interest in the city. It's just across the road from Gülhane Park, a tram stop on the T1 line and the Marmaray train station. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

We loved everything about this hotel from the location in the heart of the old city to the friendly and very helpful staff. The Ottoman style was just right and very clean. The breakfasts provided plenty of variety, and we appreciated the afternoon tea time as well. The hotel arranged for transfers from, and to, different airports, booked restaurants, and answered many questions about this overwhelming city. We stayed 5 nights and wished it could have been more. The room was very comfortable and for being in the heart of the city on a little shopping street next to Gulhane park, it was quiet. Great staff, friendly people, really pleasant to come back to after a day of jostling with the crowds on the streets of Istanbul!

This hotel really made our week in Istanbul special. The facilities are great - clean, nice hammam, excellent breakfast, good lounge area - but above all it's the staff that make the place so great. They are always friendly, helpful and welcoming without being overbearing. The hotel manager, Okay Alkan, organises tours several times a week. These show you parts of Istanbul away from the obvious tourist sites and are absolutely free (the hotel even pay the tram fares!). Okay is really friendly, knowledgeable and keen to share the culture of his city with visitors. These tours were real highlights of our stay. We had a huge, comfortable bed and a view towards Gulhane Park and Topkapi Palace (in a standard room). The kettle was a bonus for us Brits too! The street the hotel is on is quiet with very little traffic, but it's an easy walk to all the main sites and about 100 yards from a tram stop so the location could not be better. If (hopefully when!) we return to Istanbul we won't even consider staying anywhere else.

Property is in an excellent location, breakfast is plenty, housekeeping do an excellent job cleaning, they offer free bottled water daily and a complimentary culinary class which has very tasty and generous portions. Highly recommended

The staff at Sirecki are wonderful. They are knowledgeable, helpful and courteous. The hotel offers walking tours that are outstanding. I’ve stayed here several times and have ne er been disappointed

Great hotel! The room was very good and the staff were extremely warm and welcoming. The location is also excellent - only a 5 min walk from Sultanahmet Square. Would highly recommend!

Lovely local hotel, did not use it look at pool/spa area but others seemed to enjoy…the location was perfect, staff attentive and super friendly breakfast was above average as compared to the other local hotels we stayed at and the breakfast room was very nice…living room bar area was perfect for getting in off the street and using as community area(they serve afternoon tea and treats but we missed every day as we were out!) nice cold beer and drinks, but welcome to bring anything in and use area! Beds and rooms very comfortable..location a bit hard for taxi to locate so if you are not an able walker this is not your spot but if you are the location is PERFECT

My experience was undeniably horrific and I don’t wish it on my worst enemy. First of all, the hotel has no parking, and when you finally find parking, good luck hauling your luggage on interlock streets that will break the wheels. Once you actually get to the hotel, you are faced with extremely racist and unprofessional staff who will go above and beyond to make you feel unwelcome. Overall, you are taking some serious chances by giving this place your money and time so do your homework and learn from my experience

The location is great easy to walk 10-15 minutes to Aya Sofya, Blue mosque, hippodrome and the hotel overlooks amazing local park. The hotel is dated, breakfast is okay, cleaning and breakfast staff are great, very welcoming and friendly. There is a small pool, massage services too. I would stay again and try to get a room facing the park on a higher floor.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. The suite is exceptional with Jacuzzi. View of the park is lovely. Walking distance for all tourist attractions. Tram is only few yards up the road. It’s convenient to get around. Was here for 3 nights but would have preferred to stay a few more days to enjoy other parts of the city and use full hotel facilities. Will visit this hotel again. Definitely recommend.

We (a family of four) stayed at Sirkeci Mansion for 3 nights. The place is very close to all the major attractions and the Old City. The staff is very friendly and helpful in making reservations. We attended a free cooking class conducted by Okay (pronounced Okkaai) which was excellent. The rooms are of moderate size but extremely clean and pretty. Old City of Istanbul is wonderful -- especially the area around the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia, especially at night. Praying in Blue Mosque was a highlight. I would thoroughly recommend staying at this wonderful place.

Very nice stay! The hotel is in the perfect location to visit all the great attractions of Istanbul. The rooms are cosy, the general atmosphere very nice. But what makes this hotel very special are the people, Mr. Okay and his team. They make you welcome the moment you step through the door….and they are always there for the guests. I can highly recommend Sirkeci Mansion

Absolut perfekte Lage!!!! Die nächste Tramstation liegt ca. 100m entfernt - wenn man möchte sind viele Hotspots fußläufig in 10-15 Minuten erreichbar. Das Hotel ist sehr vertrauenswürdig und hilfsbereit in allen Fragen und Lebenslagen. Wir werden unseren nächsten Istanbulaufenthalt ganz sicher wieder dort verbringen.

Nice boutique hotel in the old city.
Old boutique hotel in a great location. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was good. Room was nice but bathroom was just okay. Did have plumbing issues with one of our room’s bathroom. We had 2 rooms. They did move us to a new room the next day but initial impression left a sour taste.

Serkeci Mansion is super conveniently located to all the attractions and has very comfortable lodging. Okay Alam was an amazing staff member. He was very informative, responsive and kind. The hotel kindly lets you store your luggage if needed. The Air conditioning in the room was extremely poor and despite asking for fixing it nothing was done. I was given a portable fan (with obvious dirt on it) by the receptionist at night. There was a particular smell in the hotel and the room. The hotel is in a best location but certainly needs lots of renos.

It is great to hear that you had an enjoyable stay at our hotel and our team contributed to it.We are so sorry for the issue about ACs; our ACs either heats or cool depending on the outside temperature. If out side temparature goes below 10 Celcius degrees system authomatically heats. Fabulous location with fabulous service
Really well located right by the T1 tram stop of Gulhane which makes it so easy for a tram back after a day exploring. It’s also only a 10 minute walk to the main sights and a quick tram ride to the Galetta Bridge to walk over to the other side of Europe, or get a ferry to Asia. However, the hotel is so much more than this. Whether it’s the food tours or Turkish cooking classes (so gutted this was not on a day that we could do) the hotel puts its guests first and helps them enjoy a memorable stay.
