"Overall stay was good! Communication with property owner was good. Easy fast check in. The condo was a little dirty, shower tub in master dirty, stained, and some soap scum buildup. Didn’t provide enough towels or washcloths for number of people or nights. Never found any extra blankets or pillows. The smoke detector was chirping when we arrived had to replace the battery twice during our stay. The condo had a bad smell (thinking it was neighbors up above). Location was great and central to...

"My mom, sisters and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The clean, welcoming property was so much fun to explore and enjoy. Staying at this historic property added so much charm to our vacation which included Jamestown and Williamsburg. We enjoyed taking the ferry each day and found this property to be in a great location. "

"Host never responded!! Was left scrabbling for lodging at the last minute."

"Property manager canceled my stay with no notice. I had already driven a great distance to be there. Took several days for them to issue the refund despite the fact that they canceled the reservation same day. Actually they told me I had to cancel the reservation on my end. I assume this was so they would still get the money from the reservation, but I called to cancel it and explain the situation. Long story short don’t book here."

"This home was perfect for our group that was visiting for a friend’s retirement. There was only six of us, and this property gave us the ability to comfortably stay without feeling cramped in any way. A great alternative to staying in a hotel that wouldn’t have provided community space, patio/grotto, kitchen, laundry, garage, etc. and would have cost each of us about the same, or more, than splitting the cost of this clean and spacious location. "The house was just as advertised. Back yard was great for our dog.Home was clean and everything worked. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy and not the most convenient location, but I never felt unsafe and it was quiet."

Our grandchildren had a great time, they would have liked to just stay at the property!. The ferry to Jamestown is very convenient and there is much to see on that side.
