"Upon arrival we were upgraded to a lovely big room at the front overlooking the harbour. Comfy, clean bed, really powerful shower and we were asked if we wanted our tea and coffee replenishing. Guys on reception were super helpful and friendly. Room is not serviced unless you request it to be. We stayed 4 nights and on the Friday there was a late night bar a few doors down that was open till 4 in the morning with loud music that could be heard from our room but not enough to stop us sleeping....

"Probably the nicest room we have stayed in despite spending 2 or 3 times more per night on other trips. Lovely spacious room in period property with exposed beams, brickwork and proper 4 poster bed. The quality of the renovation, and in particular the ornate marble/granite work in the bathroom, was exceptional. Add in a warm freindly welcome and it rates in the top handful of all time great stays."
