Pet friendly with fenced yard, no stairs, walk to beach access, sleeps 6!

Single Story, Dog friendly ($200 nonrefundable fee) private home just a half-block from beach! This cozy 2 bedroom home features an updated kitchen with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, and a separate dining area with seating for six. The bedrooms share a full bath between them. Feel free to bring an extra friend since this home has a comfy queen sized sleeper sofa and cable TV in the living room, and a bonus futon (futon does not come with linens) in dining area.

Enjoy a meal under the covered patio, rinse off your feet under the outdoor shower after a trip to the beach, play with your dog in the fenced backyard, or take a break from the sun and watch TV in the living room! Washer/dryer included (in same room as dining and futon). Charcoal grill. Linens Included. Wi-Fi. No smoking.

The house was very clean, love the pet area in the back yard, it was spot on for us. The only thing I did not like was the walk to the beach, it was too far, for my elderly mother.

Perfectly non-spectacular vacation house

The house is great provided one doesn't have luxury expectations my family of five (kids aged 6, 4 and 1) fit snugly into a house that was perfectly functional and with easy beach access away from busy palm boulevard There were many ants in the driveway but it was not a big deal The outdoor shower is in the backyard and it would help if there were direct access to the house without walking over sand/dirt

We need a vacation!

Great location. Peace and quiet close to nice beach access and beach. House was clean as far as someone went through it and did the basic Kitchen and bathroom cleaning. Very disappointed with the overall condition of the house. Outside shower and fenced yard for dog? Yard was dirt and full of active rodent tunnels. Can't shower or rinse off my pup and walk through dirt. The exposed tree roots and drop off of driveway were definite ankle breakers. The exterior windows were full of black dirt that needed to get cleaned to open. The ant infestation on the driveway and yard was the worst I had ever seen. The mosquitos in the storage area and carport were thick and hungry. The A/C needs a service call as squealing fans and water swirling around are not normal. The dryer vent situation needs to be rethought. Too much flexible duct and the vent is buried. We made the best of it and I am relaying some issues that are not weekly cleaning issues, but more general upkeep. We loved the location, hoping these comments will be helpful in the future.

But for location to beach-…pet odor & kind of ‘blah’

The pet odor was strong in the house. It was especially disturbing to sit on the sofa with old pillows that reeked of this odor. The house, over all, was tidy (no bugs or dirty kitchen) and the linens were fresh. The location is very convenient but the interior (decor/furniture) has not been upgraded at all- had an original 70’s/80’s vibe throughout. There is no back door so you have to walk out the side door to enter the backyard. (That would be a good detail to know) We have stayed in 7-8 rentals on IOP or Folly over the past few years-.. this was by far my least favorite for comfort and the odor. It could use a good steam clean of the furniture and rugs and definitely updating of interior items. We did not experience any problems with the house or utilities, the WiFi worked great and neighbors were nice and the street was quiet - the dog odor and ‘just kind of ‘blah’ for what you pay’ prompt my review.

This is a rare find! Location is Fabulous!

My adult daughter, our dogs, and I stayed here over Thanksgiving and plan to do so again! This quaint house is an easy walk to the beach (walk a half block and cross Palm to get on the boardwalk). Outdoor shower is nice upon return from the beach. The pups loved the fenced back yard. Because of the dogs (and wanting to keep the place tidy), we mostly stayed in the concrete floored "dining" room which is also the laundry room. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed. The bedrooms were also nice - and joined by the one bathroom - and were very quiet. Check in and out was seamless. We didn't have any maintenance requests so thankfully I can't comment on that. The house next door is currently listed for $3.4M. Location location location! Great stay!

Feels like home

Feels like a house/home. Outside needs some updating but being that close to the beach more than made up for it. I do wish they would spray for ants 🐜 in the yard but for the most, it was one of our better vacations

House could be improved

Great location but the house could be improved. HVAC makes constant rattling noise. No bathroom mirror by sink. Exposed water heater, washer, dryer are in the only room with a table. "Outside only access" to backyard could easily be fixed by incorporating the part of carport with the outside door.

Perfect weekend get away

Super clean, short walk to the beach. Perfect for our anniversary weekend. Beware of mosquitoes outside!! But that’s just the south in what felt like the summer!!

Wonderful getaway

This was a great house & location for a short getaway for us (2 adults & dog) easy walk to the beach plenty of space. Would stay again, loved that it came with sheets & towels took that extra stress away from us. Perhaps it was just the time of year but we had so many mosquitoes & ants we weren’t able to spend anytime outside the home.

Neat little house

Enjoyed our stay at the beach house. House was well stocked with kitchen utensels. Bathroom between the 2 bedrooms could be an issue with family and kids or other guests. Would have liked a TV in the main bedroom.

Traditional Beach Bungalow

We’ve been to IOP many times over the years and normally stay right on the beach in a mega house with a big group. This time it was just my sister and I with husbands. Super clean little house 1/2 a block off the main beachfront road in a quiet spot with a very short walk to beach access. It was perfect for us and would be awesome for a small family or a ladies trip. If you are going with another couple make sure it’s someone you’re VERY comfortable sharing bathroom space with because the Jack and Jill bathroom doesn’t allow for a lot privacy but we travel together often and we’d definitely stay there again. We contacted the rental company about a couple of minor things and they were very responsive.

Great IOP location for this little cottage!

Great location at one of our favorite coastal vacation spots. Easy walking distance to beach public access. A little small but our family didn’t mind. Biggest issue is the one bathroom which is only accessible through the bedrooms. Fenced yard but have to access outdoors. If you’re looking for fancy, this isn’t it, but the location and flexible rental dates worked well for us!

Location is EVERYTHING.

This property has a near perfect location. You have to walk by one other house and cross one street to get to a beach entrance. The beach is beautiful and not crowded. That alone makes this property a 10 out of 10. We were also traveling with three Pugs so the fenced in backyard was great. The house isn't new and it's not in "perfect" condition but it is very nice and everything works. It was bug-free and clean! It is EXACTLY what I wanted. The management company could not have made the check-in process easier. I think we'll be back.
