"We had a lakefront view of the total solar eclipse! Enjoyed the views of the Adirondack Mtns from the comfy enclosed porch - wonderful accommodations, nice beach area as well. Looking forward to a return visit!"

The house is beautiful inside; clean, roomy, and perfect for our family size and gathering. We were celebrating my 70th birthday, and it could not have been a more memorable experience. "This is a beautiful house in a idylic location. Our three couples had a comfortable, enjoyable stay - stunning sunsets, water access and nearby bike trails. We are giving five stars because of the property. We should take off points for the manager, but were so impressed with both the home and the location, it would not be fair the owners to present anything less than five stars. "The house is so much more spacious than it appears. Kitchen is a great size with abundant seating. Views are spectacular, people we met in the area were extremely friendly. We didn't stay in the summer, but this is definitely a perfect kayak base camp. Will definitely consider coming back in the summertime for just that."

"Location on the lake is beautiful. Sort of far from st albans 15-30 mins drive and 30-35 to Burlington. We visited for a UVM graduation so went back and forth a lot. Overall house is large and spacious with some updated amenities like appliances. Master is beautiful but other rooms are tight. Road can be loud with cars at night. with some easy changes things would be more pleasant Upon arrival we immediately noticed that floors and windowsills were not swept and cleaned recently - which was...

The house and the location were great. kitchen was well equipped (although the old style replica stove was a little challenging for a Thanksgiving dinner - but we made it work). Small details such as spices and Tupperware and aluminum foil made for a nice touch. Would definitely stay again."

The older renovated home has all the amenities you would expect. Communications with Charles, the property manager, was superb! It had everything we could have needed and more. We cook alot and the kitchen has anything you could possibly need. We loved taking our kayaks out off the shore.
