"Second time staying here. It's a great place to stay if you want to be an easy, short ride to some awesome trails and you just need a reliable home bass to hang out, get a good, hot shower, make some food, and get some sleep before heading out to do your outdoor activities. Not suitable if you're seeking luxury. But it's a great place otherwise. The owners are planning some upgrades over time, and it was already upgraded some since our last stay. "Rented the place in mid-oct for a second-marriage honeymoon. The place was easy to find and was set up perfectly for a two person cozy stay. House faces the sunset and has a deck and sitting porch. Brought my little boat and the boating access is across the street. We had zero issues. We would definitely come back!! Definitely worth it. 👌 "

"This is a great little place! It has 2 bedrooms, one with a firm bed and one with a soft bed. The TV is small, and I would recommend that the hosts get a bigger one, but it comes with Netflix, which is a great feature. "Beautiful, quiet spot up on the hillside overlooking the valley. My wife and I came up to check out the Kingdom mountain bike trails and were not disappointed. The house is an easy 15-20 min drive to the trails, as well as the bike shop, cafes, and small market in East Burke. It was helpful having all-wheel drive getting up the hill to the house, and once there check in was incredibly easy, and the house was super clean and well appointed with all new appliances. "Isbell and Isbellita were truly wonderful and the oasis we needed for the weekend! Everything was perfect, we spent the whole day on the lake, and it is conveniently located. The house is cozy and warm and has plenty of sleeping options. I slept on the porch which was particularly delightful. Also, Bread and Puppet is a 15 minute drive away — I’d highly recommend giving them a visit! On the whole, it was so lovely and it was the perfect birthday getaway. "

"My wife and I were looking for a quick get away, Keiths cottage was perfect. It had water access to the south bay where we were able to kayak and enjoy watch the bird activity. The home was super clean and had plenty of space to relax. It was a quick drive to the shops and restaurants in downtown Newport. Keith was quick to respond to any questions that we had. I would defiantly stay here again."

"Well stocked house, coffee pot, spices and oils for cooking. We had family commitments in the area and didn’t get to use all the amenities (ie boats, dock, bbq). Beds were comfortable and lake views were beautiful. Lighting strips on steps to camp were a nice touch too. We even had a loon sing to us as we were leaving! Love the NEK and the lakes!"

"Had a great time, house is very comfortable, clean and well stocked, and the surrounding area is beautiful. The location and decks right on the water cant be beat!
