During the winter months, Island Park transforms into a winter wonderland, perfect for snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing.

Explore the nearby Mesa Falls Scenic Byway, which offers breathtaking views of the Upper and Lower Mesa Falls. Wildlife enthusiasts will delight in the chance to spot moose, elk, deer, and a variety of bird species in their natural habitats. In the winter months Island Park transforms into a winter wonderland, and attracts snow mobilers from all over with its 950 miles of groomed trails.

Please note: The roads and driveway of Huckleberry Hideaway are plowed regularly but be prepared to wake up to a snow covered car and driveway. I HIGHLY recommend that you bring a vehicle with 4-wheel drive AS WELL as chains, just in case! It is the mountains and extreme weather conditions are possible so please come prepared. The roads get groomed at 6".
