The minute we walked in, I knew why Justin is rated a “Super Host”. This 2-room A-frame was perfect for our family of three adults. It is very well and thoughtfully built, rustic yet beautiful with polished pine furniture and area artwork on the walls. Blankets and bath towels are plentiful.I have an aversion to stepping out of the shower onto unfamiliar bath mats (?). I had no qualms about the bath mat at Wolf Run as the whole place was impeccable! There were many personal touches added which made Wolf Run feel homey and comfortable. Don’t plan on making big family meals. There is a small fridge, a microwave, and a toaster oven. A convenient grocery store is located nearby and there are plenty of good affordable places to eat in the town of West Yellowstone which takes you directly into the West Park entrance. We made a day trip to The Grand Tetons which took about 4 hours driving, round trip, through Yellowstone, not including time spent hiking and sightseeing. We recommend that you not miss the opportunity to visit the amazing peaks of The Tetons while you’re in the Yellowstone area. Last recommendation: make dinner reservations at The Old Faithful Inn located at the Geyser and known throughout the National Park Service as the best NPS restaurant in the U.S.! We spent a week exploring Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana. It was good knowing we had a comfy home-away-from home to return to for rest and recharging. You won’t regret your stay at Wolf Run.
