"It was a beautiful location with fantastic views. We spent a lot of time on the deck just looking at the hills and Lake Superior. The cabin was perfect - they thought of all the details and the cabin itself was well laid out. It was very comfortable and nearby hikes were close by. It is a "better than advertised". "

"Great spot! Plenty of room to cook, great fishing, quiet, and relaxing. We launched our small 12 foot boat which was awesome. A word of advice, if your boat is bigger than that, you might want to launch at the resort across the lake so there’s adequate space to back in. The lake is a short walk down the hill through a pretty path. I caught my first very large bass (a mounter!) and our dog who is fighting terminal cancer can happy and comfortable. He really liked the fan that was in the office....

"We had a great time, the cabin is beautiful. Sarah is always available and is so nice. Staying that far up north allowed us to get to places like Grand Portage and the high falls. We had fun by the fire pit making smores, but the mosquitoes are hungry! We had fun times playing foosball and air hockey championships at night. My daughter especially loved her own loft and private deck. You need to prepare yourself for little to no cell service, mosquitoes and restaurant prices.. but we would...

It has a full kitchen with all the pots, pans, plates, utensils, etc. you will need for cooking. The solar powered lights work extremely well, and we never had an issue using lights at night and charging devices during the day/night.
