Summary:
This listing is for our Beach-front Apartment with two bedrooms and two bathrooms in Haudimar Beach Apartments at Jobos Beach, Isabela. The apartment stands out from others because of its prime beachfront location with an unobstructed view of the beach. This second-floor apartment accommodates up to four guests comfortably.

The Space:
The condominium has a swimming pool, basketball court, and direct access to the beach. Enjoy a wonderful stay in our beloved Isabela, where the people are friendly, the beaches are crystal clear, and the food is exquisite. Families will be able to enjoy the beautiful nature of the northwest area of the Island. In the beach area, you will find the bicycle path where you ride a bicycle or rent an electric scooter and cruise along the different beaches. And also, nearby, there is horseback riding by the beach, snorkeling, scuba diving, surf lessons, and other fun activities under the sun. Also, in the next town, Aguadilla, you will find “Las Cascadas Water Park.” In San Sebastian, you will enjoy“Gozalandia Waterfalls.” For nighttime fun, there are multiple bars and restaurants. Surfers can find beaches with diverse levels of difficulty: Jobos, Middles, Secret Spot, Wilderness, and Surfers Beach, among others.

The Neighborhood:
The property is located in the North West part of Puerto Rico. This area have little traffic, it is quiet and safe. The residents of this area speak Spanish and most also speak English. There are restaurants and bars on a walking distance to property. For anything else we recommend a rental car. This is a small Island and it is easy to get around.

Getting Around:
There is no public transportation. Driving around is easy, all places of interest are marked on the GPS.

Other Things to Note:
DISCLOSURE

Beach life: Living on the Beach is a beautiful experience, different from what you can find in the countryside or city. This property is on the Northwest Coast of the Island of Puerto Rico, where a constant breeze comes from the ocean to the land at speeds of 10-20 miles per hour. This wind contains a high concentration of salt and fine sand. As a result of these weather conditions, you can expect to find sticky surfaces, slippery floors, stained window glass, traces of moisture or salt in the fans or air conditioners, and any other slippery or moist surfaces. Traces of rust in appliances and other metal components are also typical. We clean this property after check-out. We also do a quick inspection and retouch surfaces if needed before guests arrive; however, it is impossible to maintain the areas spotless because of this weather. These conditions vary by location of the property and by position within the apartment complex. If you book multiple apartments on the same property, you may experience different scenarios.

Local Beaches: Puerto Rico has a great diversity of beaches. Beaches on the North and East side of the Island are often wavy. The South and west coasts stay calm most of the year. The Beach in front of the Complex is unsuitable for swimming, but when the conditions are right, you may find a shallow pond between the reef and the shore. The nearest area with a sandy beach will be Jobos Beach, located 2/3 of a mile east of the Complex. You can walk right from your Apartment. At 1.5 miles to the west, you can find Shacks Beach. This Beach is great for snorkeling. Always be cautious when entering a body of water. Be aware of the swell conditions and stay away from the Beach if the waves are big. Within a 5-minute drive from the Apartment, there are two beach ponds with calm water: Montones’ and Teodoro. Another must-see Beach is Crash Boat Beach, which is 20 minutes away.

Note about bugs: Puerto Rico is a Tropical Island with a great diversity of bugs. We spray our apartments every month, but there is a high possibility that you will run into bugs on the property, especially during nighttime. Changes in the weather, like rain or temperature, can also make bugs enter the Apartment. Bug encounters may vary from one property to another, but it is unpredictable.

Note about wildlife: Puerto Rico has no dangerous species; however, you can run into Iguanas, rodents, and even stray dogs or cats. If you do run into any wild or stray animals, do not pet them or feed them. They may not be friendly.

Storm / Hurricane season: The official hurricane season in Puerto Rico is from June 1st to November 30th. We strongly suggest that all future guests get travel insurance, especially during hurricane season. We will not offer last-minute refunds due to storms or rain unless it is a big event that affects the Island utilities. We could make an exception if the power and water supply are interrupted for over 24 hours.

Utilities (water and electricity) in Puerto Rico are reasonably stable; however, we can have some isolated interruptions during the year. We will consider offering a refund if the interruption lasts over 24 hours. A 25% discount will be applied to the nightly rate of each night spent without a utility. The discount will be prorated by the hours affected. We will not provide any refunds or discounts for internet-related issues.

Swimming Pool: Your rental does not guarantee the use of the Swimming Pool. The pool is often open during pool hours, but sometimes it needs extra care. If the pool is closed for maintenance or other reason, please be kind to the Condominium’s staff. You may ask them when it will reopen, and they’ll provide any available information. There will be no discount if you cannot use the pool during your stay.

The boardwalk in front of the Complex is no longer available. The Beach is accessible through the wood bridge in the center of what was the boardwalk. Currently, the tennis court is not in service.

All the units that we manage have different owners. We provide the units fully equipped. Items such as towels, pots, and pans, among others, must be returned to the Apartment to which it belongs. Please note that other hosts rent apartments in this Condominium, and we will not likely receive our missing items back.

Please take good care of the property. We put lots of effort and money into providing an excellent experience for our guests. We understand the difference between normal wear and tear and property damage. Makeup stains or any other permanent stain are not considered normal wear and tear. We will charge the guests the replacement cost of damaged or missing goods such as towels, furniture, decoration, kitchenware, or any other lost or damaged component.

Housekeeping Note:
The cleaning fee does not include the following services:
• Trash disposal ($10.00 charge)
• Washing the dishes ($20.00 charge)

Interaction with Guests:
I'm always looking forward to offer the best vacation rentals to my guests. We do a double inspection of the unit before your arrival, however if anything needs attention please contact my assistant that's in charge of the apartments' maintenance. His info will be provided in the check in message. Our service hours are: Monday to Saturday 9am to 4pm.
If there is an emergency you can contact us anytime. Emergencies are defined as:

Flood
Locked out of the apartment
Anything that represents a hazard to you or the property
For Security issues or if there is another car in your parking spot, contact the guard at the gate or call him at 787-940-7702
For other Emergencies call 911

This is our 2nd year staying in this complex. We enjoyed this unit. Great location to the pool and beach. Unit was very clean. The only thing we would have liked more of was hangers to hang up clothes. Easy walk to Jobo’s. The food court at the top of the hill is very convenient and great food! I’m sure we will reach back out for another stay next year. We live Puerto Rico!

Amazing location and the property was well maintained. It is as pictured in the photos and has a great view of the pool and ocean in the distance. I loved the keyless entry which made it convenient for all guests to have access to the unit. The gas station and eateries at the entrance were very conveniently located. We enjoyed our stay tremendously and cannot wait to return!

If you want a clean, organized and pretty place to stay in Isabela (practically on the boarder of Aguadilla) and that is walkable to some amazing beaches, you must stay here. The check-in and check-out was super easy! Communication with the host was fast. Property was clean and well maintained. Everything we needed for the beach was provided. We would definitely stay here again. We had a wonderful weekend there. Thank you!!!

The place is beautiful it was really clean and equipped with everything we needed. Even had a little cooler that we used on out outings. We were able to cook our breakfast, and a one night Dinner which was a money saver. The place was closed to everything we wanted to see. Rivers, Beaches, and the Caverns. The supermarket was only 6 minutes away as well as restaurants were really close to the property with a gas station right next to the entrance, very convenient. Communication with the host was really good, really easy to check in and to check out. I recommend this place, and we would stay here again on our next trip. It's a 20 starts for me.

I stayed for 3 weeks. Loved it! Easy to get to. Gated community with guards. Pool area was super clean. Maintenance on property cleaning n maintaining most of the day, everyday. Apartment was super clean, plenty of towels. Kitchen fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans, and condiments. Showers had shampoo conditioner. Air conditioning in the living room and both rooms. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Everything was clean and stocked kitchen. There were plenty of restaurants close by. The pool on premise had very limited chairs and a pool monitor person who was consistently telling people what they could and couldn't do which was very annoying. The beach out front was unusable and there were no beach chairs with the condo. We did find a very nice beach that we could drive to and rent chairs there. Great food at the public beach. Also their food kiosks behind the condo were never open which is where we had originally planned to eat most of the time. Considering a couple of short comings with the property, it was a good value for the price and we would stay there again if we were looking for something in that price range. It would have been nice to have some blankets available.

Nice and clean but needs updating/replacing certain items like faucets/visible plumbing. I wish I had known that there was no elevator in buildiings. We are in our 80's and climbing to the second floor was very hard on us (before our visit, I had informed contact that we needed to be on the first floor; don't know what happened to that request).

The biggest factor that determined a Poor stay was inability to use the facility pool was due to poor water quality/maintenance the water had algae; the master bathroom toilet was not working properly. There were no kitchen garbage bags (we had to purchase our own).
