"Comfortable is what best describes Maison de La Luz. All areas are very clean and well decorated. The location is good. The room was comfortable, spacious and extremely clean. There’s a happy hour every afternoon with complimentary wine, cheese and grapes and we enjoyed that. Coffee and milk was delivered every morning to our room (the only thing that didn’t happen as expected because we had to call twice for it). "

"The staff is awesome as well as Common House staff. If you have any issues they will solve it. We couldn’t find the address which our GPS issue. The staff stood outside and also help up park. It truly a home from home on steroids. We walked a couple block and saw some of the best art work. The entire environment is about love and prosperity. I never saw a negative spirit while I was there."

We used the Streetcar every day to go the French Quarter or Bywater, but honestly the Garden District and Magazine St was our favorite and walking distance. "
