"Enjoy being out on the covered deck during rainstorms. The property landscaping gave privacy and allowed our group to relax alone or with others as desired. No need to turn on the television as just looking out the windows or sitting on the decks provided live entertainment with the wildlife all around. "This house had everything we needed and the SPACE! 2 families with multiple aged kids was A worry, but there was space for family time, space to sneak away for alone time, and separate space for kids and for adults. (Bless the loft!) Gorgeous sunlight and views all throughout the day until sunset, and SO close to everything we needed. But no need to bring anything but groceries because it’s got everything you could need! This home really made our time together perfect!"

"I absolutely loved everything about this host and her property. She is one of the best hosts I have yet to deal with, she went above and beyond to make sure I had a pleasant stay. "Very nice place! We would definitely stay here again ,loved the location. Took our little jonboat and it was perfect because it had the boat ramp. It really was the perfect place and the price was very reasonable."

"Spent our anniversary weekend at the cottage. Went to homosassa and Crystal river on boat tours. We used the peddle boat at the cottage and went down the canal. At end if canal was an Emu island, very interesting as they even had an alpaca. Cottage was well supplied. Even caught a bass fish in the canal. Place was a litle tricky to find as the cottage is tucked in on their property but they were home to guide us. Very relaxing weekend getaway"

"My wife and I along with our 2 small dogs had a very relaxing, peaceful week at Hall’s River Retreat. This is our 2nd time staying and we will be back. Joanne is an exceptional hostess and she had everything clean and stocked when we arrived. Beds are very comfortable and the fenced in yard was perfect for our two shorkies. "Our family came together for a three night getaway and this home was the perfect location for us. We especially enjoyed the spacious kitchen and ample seating to sit and enjoy meals together. Outdoors, we enjoyed the sunsets, fire pit, and lots of fishing right from the backyard! This home is so clean, the beds are comfortable, and the location is peaceful. The owner is easy to communicate with and worked so hard to have this property ready for us. We are grateful for the hospitality!"
