"We all had a wonderful active vacation . There was so much to do on the river . My four grandchildren enjoyed the rope swing , and fishing on the island , we all enjoyed the paddle boarding , tubing , snorkeling and kayaking . The house was great , with enough room for the ten of us. We will return."

"The house was everything we thought it would be, and more! We brought our boat, and it was so great to have it right there. And after a day on the water, it was so awesome to jump right into the pool. The house was very clean and had almost everything we needed. The only thing we were missing was a few more kitchen supplies but we made do with what we had. "

"What an amazing place to stay, great location and only minutes from stores and restaurants. Decent location in the river to access to the gulf. And the house literally had anything and everything for any occasion and for all ages. This house is definitely by far the best place we have stayed for scalloping and we have been scallop for 15 years. Thank you so much patty and can’t wait to stay here again. "

"The property is in a great location, 5-10 min from everywhere we needed to go. There’s an awesome breakfast restaurant right on the corner (walk distance). The property has a nice backyard with Kayaks, firepit, grill and an awesome view! It was super clean including towels and sheets and a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need. A very large Parking space was a plus!"

"Beautiful and relaxing stay. The home is large and lovely and well laid out with beautiful water views from the moment you open the front door. It’s set off in a small cove and we enjoyed quiet morning moments on the dock and how conveniently located it was to the Springs, restaurants, shopping and the river. "

"Our house was so clean and well appointed! Loved the Old Florida vibe and the Sand Hill Cranes were a bonus!We brought our own kayaks and paddle boards, but the house had plenty of options to get out and enjoy tho river with!It was so peaceful sitting on the dock and watching all the beautiful wildlife!We will be back!"

From the warm, friendly communication with the property owner, to the spectacular views, to a very well stocked house, this vacation far exceeded our expectations for our scalloping trip. With a boat ramp nearby and a close proximity to exiting the channel out to the grounds, this is a great place to stay with your boat. "This was our 3rd year staying at the Mermaid House. We love it so much, we've already booked for next summer. So many great things to point out:- It's always Super Clean when we get there. - It's always ready on time. - The game room in the garage is a HUGE favorite of the men and kids. (Thanks for the new Galaga game- a crowd pleaser!)-The kitchen is always stocked with everything you need. -The location is ideal. "This was a great location in Crystal River, it was a clean house with plenty of kitchen supplies, towels, extra seasonings for food, laundry detergent, and extra shampoo/conditioner. Outside it had a grill, boat lift, dock, and scallop/fish cleaning station. I stayed here with my parents and husband and we really enjoyed the house. It had an owners manual outlining everything we would need to know about the house and recommendations for food and activities to do in the area. The beds were...
