"We all had a wonderful active vacation . There was so much to do on the river . My four grandchildren enjoyed the rope swing , and fishing on the island , we all enjoyed the paddle boarding , tubing , snorkeling and kayaking . "The house was everything we thought it would be, and more! We brought our boat, and it was so great to have it right there. And after a day on the water, it was so awesome to jump right into the pool. The house was very clean and had almost everything we needed. The only thing we were missing was a few more kitchen supplies but we made do with what we had. "

"What an amazing place to stay, great location and only minutes from stores and restaurants. Decent location in the river to access to the gulf. And the house literally had anything and everything for any occasion and for all ages. This house is definitely by far the best place we have stayed for scalloping and we have been scallop for 15 years. Thank you so much patty and can’t wait to stay here again. "

"I can’t say enough good things about this location. From the warm, friendly communication with the property owner, to the spectacular views, to a very well stocked house, this vacation far exceeded our expectations for our scalloping trip. "This was our 3rd year staying at the Mermaid House. We love it so much, we've already booked for next summer. So many great things to point out:- It's always Super Clean when we get there. - It's always ready on time. - The game room in the garage is a HUGE favorite of the men and kids.
