We absolutely loved staying here, it was quiet, clean, had everything we needed and was a great area to still be close to town for food or outings. Our host was amazing as well. When we first checked in the AC was leaking on to the bed and the host got there within 15 minutes and got us a new cabin and the issue was resolved with speed and professionalism. We were very impressed and will definitely stay again if ever back in the area.

The host was super attentive and answered all of my questions. The entire cabin was clean and tidy. The kitchen was great and allowed me to cook full meals. The view of the lake was a lovely especially while sitting in rocking chairs. I would definitely stay here again.

I Cancelled

I expected that the cabin would be ruined from the flood. I called a day or so before I was due to arrive when I got an automatic message about arrival. Of course I was not comfortable coming as I had a reservation for the end of camp and camps had closed and girls sent home. I said I hoped they could use my dates for volunteers or people who had lost their homes. I hope camp will open next year and I would reserve again. The review form is irrelevant in this situation but the people were polite to deal with in a difficult situation

Softball Tourney Stay

Came for a 1 night stay for a softball tourney in Kerville. Great place to stay in the hill country along the waterfront across the street. Very clean and a nice set up on the property. Highly recommended

Perfect cozy cabin!

Perfect getaway for my writing retreat to finish my book in comfort and peace. Cabin was beautifully decorated and laid out, clean, great TV options and speedy internet, added details and amenities like snacks and amazing-smelling candle I lit daily. Lake view from the patio's rocking chairs was lovely and both deer and cats stopped by. I loved taking breaks swimming by just crossing the (busy) street. Only heard traffic when outdoors. Management was prompt, responsive, and kind.

This place was so perfect for my little momcation. Perfect size, everthing I needed. Most comfortable bed. The living are was so homie. The fact the river is accessible just across the street is awesome. Lots of things to do close by or a beautiful afternoon drive away. Will be staying agin. Thank y'all!

5 star stay!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the little cabin across from the lake. We went for a relaxing weekend, and achieved just that. It’s was so nice to be able to walk across the road to the private dock and enjoy the water. I highly recommend the cabin and look forward to returning.

Nice get away while kids at camp

I rented this cabin as a home base for dropping/picking up my daughter from camp. I didn't want to drive home only to turn around to pick her back up. I picked this cabin mainly for its location and proximity to swimming. It was really cute cabin. I wish the couch was a pull out. I had to work remotely while there and the desk area and internet were convenient and reliable. I wish there was a power strip to plug into on desk. I found the bed a little soft for my liking. The kitchen was well stocked, but I wish there was a toaster or toaster oven. The owner was responsive when I had a problem with the lock. I wish there was a little more info about things like trash and expectations for check out. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and we would stay again.

Quaint little getaway

The Texas Hunt Lodge was amazing, the place was clean and cozy , beautiful view of the lake and right across from Ingram Damm , our kids enjoyed fishing and floating off the dock. Everyone was super helpful and kind , I have to Mention Lisa that is in the kitchen and does all the cleaning, she is so kind and super helpful, we sure appreciated her . Great place to stay.

Nice rental

Center of what I needed

The Hunting lodge is beautiful. The modular home was brand new and still in the beginning stages. Ross replied back to most emails asap. Sitting on the dock was peaceful. This place was in a central location to most shopping and events. I was impressed by the horns, birds, and rain on the porch.Thank you for the stay.

Great Place

Brand new cabin, clean, very pleasant accommodations, with everything we needed for a relaxing, peaceful stay. The staff at the lodge were friendly and very helpful. I especially enjoyed being right across the street from the water. We enjoyed the beautiful view from the rockers on the front porch.
