MORIFUNEYA INE A Forest and Handcrafted Inn Presented by a RoundtheWorld Traveler After a yearlong roundtheworld trip having experienced the warmth of over 50 countries I chose the boathouse area of Ine known as the Venice of the East as my next base Located in a quiet forest a little distance from the hustle and bustle of the sea I renovated an old villa with my own hands to create MORIFUNEYA INE Inside Ive scattered the comfort I found on my travels and local traditions through DIY The hearth of the former dining table has been remodeled into a miniature garden bamboo lanterns gently illuminate the night and a vibrant blue hanging scroll made from scraps of local Tango crepe fabric taking advantage of the scratches on the wall The warmth of handmade items that embrace imperfection resides in the space After your bath please enjoy a local ice pop that evokes a sense of nostalgia This is not just a place to stay This is a place to cherish simply being / This is a private detached villa
