the front desk messed up our reservations and when we finally got to our room, it had no heat. They moved us to another room, but it didn't have a roll in shower (we had reserved wheelchair accessible rooms) or a transfer seat for the tub. What it did have was a couple of suspicious dark stains on the blanket. Back to the shower situation. The manager told us he would leave the door to the unheated room unlocked so we could use that shower as it was just down the hall, but come morning it was locked so no shower. AND we were charged for food and drinks in that room. I believe someone had seen the unlucked door and helped themselves to the snacks there, and closed the door behind them when they left. They also charged us for valet parking when the manager who fixed our reservation had assured us the hotel would provide valet parking at no charge for the inconvenience. It took a 20 minute call to get the billing straightened out and I am still waiting for the corrected email receipt showing our refunds, which were supposed to have arrived by the end of the day yesterday and so will have to spend more of my time calling for that email. This is not the first time we have had issues with our rooms at the Fairfield and will not be staying there again.
