"Truthfully, my favorite economy hotel experience I've ever had. My wife and I stumbled upon this place on the way home from a trip to Chicago a year ago- it was such a great experience that we took our family of 5 back for a weekend trip. "If you stay in an interior room of the hotel I rate it 4 stars BUT the external entrance room 111 on the ground floor was dirty, curtains dangling from rod, door lock loose, worn furniture and carpet filthy, sunlight and air coming through the door, smoking allowed outside the room and everyone who came there to smoke , you hot their second hand smoke through the AC and crack in door entrance. "We wake up at 3:00 to find no water. When I called the front desk they said they were doing laundry & water would not return for our hotel rooms on for at least an hour. I have never experienced such a thing in a hotel! "I cannot really rate this room on loneliness or anything else when we got to this hotel there were storm warnings and sirens going off the hotel had no electricity which was not their fault. The entire town did not have any electricity by the time we get to our rooms which were on the second floor after electricity came back on.
