Our stay at Eagle’s Nest was incredibly peaceful and serene. The setting is absolutely stunning. The drive in on the seasonal road could potentially be a little tricky for some, but honestly, that’s also part of what makes this place feel so secluded and special. The river running right behind the property is amazing and adds so much to the experience. We stayed in the treehouse and loved it. The temperature control worked surprisingly well, and sleeping with the window open while listening to the stream/river was so relaxing. The hot tub was fantastic, and the cabin had everything we needed indoors. The refrigerator is on the smaller side, which we didn’t really notice in the listing, but it wasn’t an issue for us at all. There were plenty of pots, pans, utensils, and even ground coffee provided. There’s no sink in the bathroom, so the kitchen sink is used for everything, but again, that wasn’t a big deal to us.The fireplace in the main A-frame is wonderful — it gives off a lot of heat and adds such a cozy warmth to the atmosphere. The entire property feels magical and truly like the perfect place to disconnect and reset. You hear absolutely no traffic, no noise, and hardly see another person. It’s pure solitude. We genuinely hope to come back again someday.
