The place was cute and in a good location. I asked if there was a mold issue before I reserved it I also asked if I could pop in and smell it quick as I have an immune condition where I can't tolerate mold. I was not allowed to pop in before reserving. They assured me there was no mold. As soon as I walked into place I smelled that familiar moldy musty smell and a little bit of cigarettes. I tried to stay there for 9 days but I kept getting sicker and sicker. I told the host I was checking out early and asked if they would be so kind as to even consider reimbursing at least half of the days I didn't stay. They kept telling me they would get back to me but they never did. They also kept messaging me like I was still staying there. I could have gotten a mold inspector in there and gotten a report to prove that there was unhealthy levels of mold but I'm in the process of remediating my home for mold so I just didn't want to deal with it. I lost at least 1,600. I have learned that mold does not affect everyone but if you think you are affected by mold do not stay here.
