"Stayed over a holiday weekend and this place was almost half the cost of the hotels. As others reviewed this place is very clean and has everything you’d need including a full size washer and dryer. There is a futon in the living room with a TV. The fridge is smaller than pictured and they put storage for pans below. There are portable induction stove tops (loved those). "Lonewest is and was absolutely perfect! - Amazingly relaxing, peaceful, rejuvenating, and the night time stars were perfect! - Is only a 17 minute drive from Mount Whitney trailhead and a quick 10 minute drive to the Main Street in Lone Pine. Lydia was super communicative and the property was spot on, breathtaking and my wife and I will absolutely be staying here again.Thank you!"

"West Wind certainly DID take our breath away!! Our 4-night stay there went way too fast and "tasted like more!" The views outside from every direction were spectacular and there was so much to see in the area. The inside layout was stunning and spacious! Lone Pine is an "unreal real." Sipping coffee while watching "horse zoomies" across the road was a highlight! Joost, the host, was so friendly and accommodating. We'd go back in a heartbeat!!
