"I absolutely loved this place! It was rustic and charming. The check-in was so easy, as was check-out. Communication from the owners was terrific. The location was quiet and it was nice to sit on the porch and listen to the creek. The outside of the cabins might need a little TLC. The bonus was the history of this place! People used to come from all over in the late 1800's and early 1900's to drink water from the spring, which was said to have healing properties. The hotel that used to be there...

"We really enjoyed our stay here. The views of the valley from the cabin are really good. Perfect for a family or a small group. Pets are allowed so that was a plus. It's secluded and away from the crowds. "

"This. Place. Is. Awesome! The pictures do not do it justice. Amazing location far from civilization. Great place to go to unplug. I wish we would have had more time to spend there but we were just passing through and only stayed one night. Whether you want to do your best impersonation of Henry David Thoreau or get back to basics with the kids you cannot go wrong with this property. The owner is a really nice guy as well. "

"I’m afraid that no words or pictures can quite describe our stay at Pops cozy cabin! The views are stunning; the cabin was updated, beautifully decorated, and spotless. It had everything we needed for a mother/daughters weekend get away. We wish we had planned a longer stay- and will be back. This area of Virginia is close to so many things to do. Or, if you prefer having nothing to do, this is the place for you as well. It’s so peaceful sitting on the deck enjoying the scenery as the day...

"Wonderful place. Loved the location for motorcycle rides had an area to place bikes out of rain. There was a great fire pit. Loved cooking and just hanging out on the larger porch during the rain storm. "

"Cute cabin! Cute cows as neighbors, too! We enjoyed our stay. We ended up bringing an extra person and had plenty of room to add a twin air mattress to the loft. The back yard is very sloped so if you bring a dog, keep that in mind. There is plenty of room to walk dogs below the houses on the flatter grass. There is parking for two cars, but one spot is also very sloped. Definitely a repeat stay if we are back in the area. The host was very responsive! "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was beautifully decorated. Everything we could have needed was available. We just went to Ingles for food and cooked all our meals at the cabin. I fell in love with the screened in porch. I felt like i was in a tree house. My favorite spot was the outdoor couch. It's hard to believe it is early August and we could spend an entire day outside, even in the hot tub. "

"What a beautiful cabin. I've never slept by a babbling brook and what a relaxing sound to fall asleep to. The surrounding area is of course beautiful with those fabulous mountain views."

"I loved the place overall, I only had a few things to mention. There was no shower caddy, there was alot of poison ivy on one of the trees near the deck. There were no directions for the ice maker or directions for connecting to the TV channels. It was very convenient to downtown and parks and trails. Will stay again!"
