I do not recommend staying at this hotel. When I first arrived, an older lady greeted me respectfully and kindly helped me carry my suitcase to my room. However, I was disappointed to find that the restaurant only serves food at specific times. After a long flight, I hoped to order something to eat, but was told dinner wasnāt being served yet. I explained that I was hungry after traveling, and eventually the staff asked the chef, who agreed to make something. I ordered chicken strips and a drink, but neither tasted very good. I ate it because I had no other choice. The hotel may be affordable, but there are serious drawbacks. At night, there is no security or staff at the front desk, which feels unsafe. One morning, I left for Pebbles Beach at 6am to meet my taxi driver, and there was still no one at reception. This lack of security is concerning. Cleanliness is also an issue the property clearly needs maintenance and attention. Itās also located far away from most attractions. The front desk staff are unhelpful and seem to know little about Barbados, which is surprising for a hotel. My room was quite disappointing. The furniture was old and musty, and the shower didnāt work properlywater leaked all over the bathroom floor every time I used it. The bed was uncomfortable and the bedding was hard, making it difficult to sleep. Cats were wandering around inside the hotel, and I was warned to keep an eye on my food to prevent them from eating it.
