Villa Antea - privat heated pool, brand new villa, relaxing, rural near sea

Stunning modern 4 bedrooms ( air conditioner in each bedroom) 2 bathrooms and 1 toilet villa situated in the unique location in the Dalmatian hinterland near the town of Imotski which is well-known for the Red and Blue lakes. The house is positioned in a small village far away from the hastiness of the city and still close enough to all necessary facilities.
The villa is spread over 2 floors. The ground floor has a modern living room ( air-conditioner) the dining area and fully equipped kitchen, as well as a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower. The two double and one twin bedroom plus a bathroom and guest toilet are on the first floor.
In front of the house are large mosaic tiles heated swimming pool, sun loungers, play area for children, the barbecue area and nicely decorated garden. The house has a garage for 1 car and private parking.
It offers unforgettable panoramic view on the northern part of the Biokovo mountain nature park. The tunnel Saint Ilija through the heart of the mountain Biokovo takes you straight to the beach. The house is situated 25 km from the most beautiful beaches on the Adriatic Coast and 30 km from the city of Makarska.
From the house by car you arrive to Split for an hour, Dubrovnik 2 hours and Trogir 1 hour 15 minutes. Split is very popular destination becuase of its numerous historical sights and attractions. The old part of the city Split is a palace of the Roman emperor Diocletian and is a zero-category monument protected by UNESCO. Few kilometers further is historical city of Trogir and an airport.
Minimum stay is one week (7 days). Departure till 10 am and arrival from 4pm. We take into consideration only families with children, singles, couples or groups of grown ups. This is a quiet location for a vacation so we can not accept reservations from groups of very young people who expect loud parties at night.
Villa provides all the necessary comfort for 8.
Internet is free wi-fi unlimited usage and there is a satellite TV program. There is also washing machine,clothes dryer, dishwasher, fridge, deep freeze 50L, iron, iron board, hair dryer, microwave, mixer.
The price includes final cleaning, towels, sheets , electricity, water and tourist tax so there is no extra hidden costs.
During your stay we are available 24 hours a day for any help or question.

  • Blue Lake * (Croatian: Modro jezero or Plavo jezero) is a karst lake located near Imotski in southern Croatia. Like the nearby Red Lake, it lies in a deep sinkhole possibly formed by the collapse of an enormous underground cave. The total depth from the upper rim is around 220 meters, while water depth varies with season. In spring, when the snow from surrounding mountains melts, it can reach 90 m, and in 1914 it reached 114 m, overflowing the southern rim. The lake is a popular destination for hiking and sight-seeing. Maximum dimensions of the lake are around 800×500 m, but they significantly vary due to big changes in the water level. At the end of the summer the lake may completely disappear. In 1907 a road was built descending to the lake. Lovely villa, peaceful spot

Great villa, lovely pool. Excellent host and plenty of communication. Mario built the villa and lives nearby, very responsive. Imotski is not a typical tourist destination but a small hilltop town. It has a small pretty centre with some nice restaurants, a choice of three good supermarkets. The countryside is lovely. Im a cyclist and wish id taken my bike. The coast is a 45min drive and i recommend a trip to Mostar in Bosnia, just over the border.

Amazing villa

The villa is amazing! Immaculate and very spacious. Air con in all rooms, pool is heated, has everything you need. Local shops within 10min drive ( would recommend park & shop or tommy market over lidl as there better priced and better choice). Mario is a fantastic host even offered a homemade meal which tasted incredible! The villa was just perfect for a relaxing week away with the kids. Highly recommend booking

Urlaub in einer Wohlfühloase - wir kommen wieder

Ruhige und erholsame Wohngegend. Nette Nachbarn. Kein Straßenlärm. Die Außenanlage erinnert an eine Oase wie mitten in der Wüste. Der beheizte Pool unschlagbar. Im Haus fehlt es an nichts, alles was das Herz begehrt. Mario der Gastgeber ist nett, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen, der perfekte Ort für Ruhe, Entspannung und Seele baumeln lassen.

Wonderful Villa and fantastic host

We arrived at villa Antea after a very early start from home, Mario met us and immediately made us feel very welcome. The villa is fantastic, very modern, spotlessly clean, comfy and has almost everything you can need to enjoy your holiday. It is in a very quiet area but close to Imotski. The lounge has very comfy seating and a curve tv (also a play station but we didn’t use it). The kitchen is well equipped and Mario had stocked the fridge with a shelf of beer, a shelf of coke and a bottle of Jack Daniels! The bedroom s were spacious and the beds comfy. The shower s are very big. The playroom on the upper floor looked very good for children (we didn’t have any children with us). The upstairs balcony at the front is partially enclosed and so is handy for drying clothes. The garage is very wide so easy to park your car out of the sun or you can leave the car out and fold out the table tennis table and have a game. Lol The pool is clean and heated. A BBQ is at the end of the garden and Mario provided charcoal and logs. There are no restaurants within walking distance but there is a Lidl within a 5 min drive and Mario is more than willing to recommend a restaurant if you ask him. Mario cooked us a traditional Croation meal one evening as well as bringing round bottles of wine from the grapes on vines growing either side of the villa grounds, grapes from the vines and some locally made sour cherry liqueur. Mario is a wonderful host and cannot do enough for you, all you need to do is whatsapp him or speak to him. We visited the Red and Blue lakes and spent a day in Omis and a day in Split but spent the rest of our holiday enjoying the peace and quiet (apart from 2 days when contractors where digging a bore hole immediately behind the villa – Mario could not apologize enough as the work had not been planned to take place when the villa was unoccupied but a broken piece of equipment delayed work) The only negatives we can say are – there was no folder in the villa telling you about the villa, local restaurants, places to visit etc (Although Mario was very informative when help was needed) and there was only 1 parasol outside. These things did not however impact our holiday. We would definitely recommend Villa Antea and can’t speak highly enough of Mario who is a very attentive host.

Super Gastgeber, super Haus

Wir sind mit 4 Erwachsenen und 3 Kindern gereist (1, 5 und 14). Das Haus hat mehr als ausreichend Platz, wir konnten schön gemütlich miteinander essen (innen wie außen ist ausreichend Platz vorhanden). Der Pool ist perfekt und sogar geheizt. Mario ist ein super Gastgeber, der immer mit Rat und Tat zur Seite stand (ich musste bspw. 1x eine Bestellung an das Haus liefern lassen). Er hat uns sogar zu einem typisch kroatischen Essen eingeladen. Er ist wirklich ein klasse Typ und man merkt ihm an, dass er möchte, dass man zufrieden ist. Imotski ist ein unscheinbarer Ort, der aber viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten bietet und super für Ausflüge gelegen ist. Wir waren bspw. in Split, im Nationalpark Krk oder auch Dubrovnik. Alles in 1,5-3 Stunden erreichbar. Wir können das Haus und Mario als Gastgeber nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen, es war ein super Urlaub, vielen Dank!

Super vakantie

Gewoon super vakantie. Rustig gelegen villa (dat volledig voldoet) ideaal gelegen ligt voor uitstappen: 30 min van de kust, 1 u van split en natuurlijk marijo niet vergeten, super gastheer dat alles over heeft voor zijn gasten altijd bereikbaar, een lekker diner klaargemaakt voor ons, zwembad gekuist. Kortom super accommodatie met super gastheer.

Super-schönes Haus in ruhiger Lage

Das Haus ist traumhaft schön, sehr modern und sehr sauber. Wir haben unseren 2-wöchigen Aufenthalt im September dort sehr genossen. Das Haus verfügt über 4 Schlafzimmer (3 oben, 1 unten) für insgesamt 8 Personen, 2 Bäder und eine separate Toilette. Die Küche ist modern und enthält alles, was man braucht. Das Highlight ist der große Kühlschrank mit Gefrierschrank und Eiswürfelbereiter. Im Kühlschrank fanden wir eine tolle Auswahl an Getränken, die uns Mario kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt hat. Im EG und im OG ist jeweils eine Klimaanlage und die Bäder haben Fußbodenheizung. Im OG gibt es auch noch ein kleines Spielzimmer für Kinder. Handtücher, Geschirr- und Spültücher sind in ausreichender Anzahl vorhanden. Mario ist ein toller Gastgeber, der immer erreichbar ist und für Informationen zur Verfügung steht. Marios Tante hat uns an einem Abend ein super leckeres Abendessen gekocht – hierfür nochmal vielen Dank!!! Und Marios Onkel hat uns mit Trauben von den eigenen Reben und Feigen verwöhnt. Der Pool ist groß und beheizt (27°), so dass man auch bei kühleren Außentemperaturen gerne ein Bad nimmt. Im Außenbereich steht auch ein Grill und Spielgeräte für Kinder zur Verfügung. Die Lage ist ruhig, außerhalb von Imotski, und man braucht trotzdem nur ca. 25 min bis zum glasklaren Meer. Für uns war das ideal. In Imotski selbst gibt es leckere Restaurants (z.B. Euphoria, Hotel Venezia), die wir auch sehr empfehlen können. Also kurz zusammengefasst – wir können die Villa Antea uneingeschränkt empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder!!! Ein Tipp zum Schluss: Für die Anreise bei Google Maps einfach „Villa Antea Imotski“ eingeben.

Sehr sehr Gastfreundlich und Hilfsbereit. Ein sehr sauberes und tolles Haus sowie der Ort war sehr ruhig. Das Haus und den Anbieter kann ich nur weiterempfehlen ;)
