Rocks, caves or sinkholes are never just that, but in the imagination of the locals they are home to fairies, angels or cursed rulers. Immerse yourself in the mythology and poetic power of these legends about harsh nature. Or head to the nearby pebble beaches of Makarska, from where you can jump into the crystal-clear Adriatic Sea.
