"The position of Hotel Christina is excellent. Not only for the fantastic view across St Lawrence bay but also for accessing amenities, parks, promenade and restaurants .
Staff could not have been more friendly and accommodating.
Food was generous,varied and of a good standard.
Only slight niggle old be we found the lighting in the restaurant of an evening too bright so faltered to create any ambiance. Also the bathrooms a little dated."

I didn't appreciate being told that I couldn't swap an alcoholic wine drink for a soft drink as part of the steak night "deal", so took my business elsewhere."
"The room has lovely sea views but the carpet is heavily stained and the decor generally quite tired. The room was also incredibly hot despite being offered a fan by the helpful staff. It is a great hindrance that the windows cannot be opened more than a few inches.
For a hotel of this reputation and in this price range, air conditioning should be incorporated throughout.
The ground floor area and amenities like the pool are wonderful, as are the friendly staff.
