"The motel was clean, staff friendly and parking was free and plentiful. Our view was from the side of the hotel but it was fine. Conveniently located and quiet. We had never been to Oak Island and I’m glad we decided to go! Our room was newly renovated and while there was not a lot of extra amenities, it was more than enough for our basic needs. Someone had mentioned in another review that there was no shampoo/conditioner/lotion and I found that to be helpful and I was prepared. The pier beside...
