I'd just point out that, given that the bathrooms are located outside the rooms (each room gets its own private bathroom, but they're all down the hall), it feels more like a hostel than a hotel, so keep that in mind. "The location of this hotel couldn’t be more perfect. It is steps from all the shops, cafes, canal, etc in the Bikan historic district. The hotel could use some updating, but was still lovely and comfortable. This part of our stay in Japan was our favorite."
