"The area is nice. Its a village outside Dubrovnik about 35 minutes away by bus from the Old City. Its close to the beach. There's 1 grocery store and 1 restaurant that only serve during supper and needed advance reservation . The caretaker does not speak English at all. You need a goggle translator. The towels were crunchy Bring soap and conditioner as its not provided. It would be nice for the host to give some overview of the area . We felt that they don't care at all every time we ask them....

"We really enjoyed our stay and we are so glad we selected this hotel. We had a corner room with balcony with amazing views of the beach. Lovely and secluded and a nice spot to have a drink in the evening. Our room was really clean and the staff were friendly. The air con (much needed in July) was quiet and powerful and the blackout blinds were very effective. Breakfast was exceptional. "Hotel incrível, muito próximo a cidade velha, a pé, com paredes originais. A Maria, super prestativa, não deixa faltar nada. “Carinha” de hotel boutique, charmoso e confortável. Tem sua excentricidade que, ao sair do hotel, vc precisa estar atento porque estará direto numa rua movimentada. Sem calçada. Voltaria com certeza"

"Staff were lovely and very helpful, main gripes were that there was a grape left in the rooms from the previous guest so it had a bit of an ant problem and the shower head fixture had come loose from the wall and was hanging on. Other than these gripes the room was great, TV with Netflix, YouTube and Prime installed, free wifi which was quick enough to stream videos. The resteraunt it is located above is also great and welcoming so you dont have to look far if you need something quick to eat."

"Clean room but bed cover had what looked like a cigarette burn on it despite the property apparently being smoke free. Noisy area but that’s to be expected as it is quite a central and convenient location right by Pile Gate. Street entertainment stops at around 11pm so it does become quieter. Reception not always attended however was helpful at carrying my luggage up the stairs.
