"The Shores was an amazing property to stay at. So close everything. The private beach was on the smaller side but still perfect with larger public beaches very close by. "My husband and I stayed here for 6 nights while birding the fantastic Magee Marsh. The location was great, with nice views and proximity to many good restaurants in Port Clinton. Charles was extremely proactive about communication and responsive, the check in process was smooth and easy and the property managers provided plenty of detail about the logistics of getting to the property. "This place was in a nice community, but the house was a dump. It was difficult to find and not very clean. There was a hole in the shower surround, the bikes were rusted, and there was a window and door that were obviously almost broken, upon arrival. The owners will charge you an arm and a leg if you don't take the trash out, place the used sheets on the floor, put dishes away, etc. We will not be staying at this vrbo again, but will be returning to Middle Bass Island."
