"We checked in late after serving from the ferry and the staff was there waiting for us! Such a nice treat, I must say! :) Rooms are comfortable and the shower is very good. Housekeeping is a little noisy for me, but if you're planning on leaving before 10 am, that wouldn't be an issue. I would recommend this place to all my friends."

"It was a bit of a strange place. We had booked with the Sportsman’s Inn but they gave us a room at the McNeill Inn. There was a view of the water but directly in front was a parking lot with cars driving through from the coffee place & people walking by. The furniture was in rough shape but overall the room was clean but smaller than we expected. Basically it was a weird set up."

"The Quarterdeck Inn Port Hardy was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. From the room to the staff to the management, everything fell short of even the most basic standards. The hotel itself is dingy and seedy — the walls were literally muddy. This is not a place that takes pride in its facilities. The “hot breakfast” advertised turned out to be a cold A&W breakfast sandwich. That says it all about the standard of this place. But the real issue was the management. When I had a...
