"My wife and I stayed a night en route to the ferry in Port Hardy. We are so happy we chose to stay at the Sportsman Inn. The whole town was so quaint and charming. The people were terribly nice. The food at the little pub was top notch. Some city joints could learn a thing or two. Our room was spottless, the bed was plush and soft. Parking was easy, and the staff was pleasant. "We checked in late after serving from the ferry and the staff was there waiting for us! Such a nice treat, I must say! :) Rooms are comfortable and the shower is very good. Housekeeping is a little noisy for me, but if you're planning on leaving before 10 am, that wouldn't be an issue. I would recommend this place to all my friends."

"Nimpkish Hotel is an excellent place to stay on Cormorant Island. We arrived very late at night due to a late last ferry but the owners and staff were extremely accommodating and helpful. The facility was clean and charming. Breakfast overlooked the beautiful harbour and offered lots of options. Highly recommend."
