When we walked in, we were shocked to find that the space looked nothing like the listing: the walls and ceiling were painted stark white, and the room felt old and heavily used, not fresh and clean as expected. "We rented this property to visit with a group of friends (late 30s to mid 40s, no children with us). One of the things we wanted when finding a house to rent was to have the entire house and privacy, so that was certainly one of the attractive features of this one, in addition to being walking distance to town. " Culebra is a once in a lifetime experience and this property served our needs well for the week we spent there. Our Villa shared a deck with another unit which came as a surprise to us. Hot water not hot but in fairness this is very common throughout our travels in the Caribbean. "

"place was spacious and clean. good kitchen if you plan to cook. i was initially worried about the aluminum slat windows but they ended up being totally fine - with the climate on culebra, maybe even preferable over glass. hosts were super friendly and accommodating. "

"Host never answered when we asked where we could leave our luggage,as previously mentioned, when we arrived via ferry so that was completely ignored. Was eager to check into the place after a long day at the beach only to arrive to our lock box and there be no key. This definitely got frustrating as we needed the key to open the gates once our excursion was done as it would be done late. "We are a family of six and needed a night's stay as we booked the 9:30 pm bioluminescent kayak tour. This home was one of the cleanest I stayed in, was well stocked with supplies and a great location! Everything was accurately described on vrbo. Great communication from the host!!"
